As a mother of 2.5 yrs old baby the best suggestion that I can give you is that always go by your mommy instincts...many suggestions will come ur way after becoming a mother, but u r the best judge, u will know what is right or wrong for your baby...so always do what ur heart says...
Hi debina I just wanted to tell you two things which I found is not okay in your video:
1. Use openable diapers instead of diaper pants because that will hurt the umbilical cord which is left in babies belly button due to that the baby will be uncomfortable.
2. Use front open clothes for baby instead of closed ones because it will similarly hurt the belly button of the baby and also you can choose single dori kind of clothes which you have already bought and showed us in the video.

Also keep Norsaline drops as in AC baby's nose get blocked and it is advised to put saline drops before every feed so that baby don't spit milk...and one more thing is cotton or alcoholic swabs to clean the cord before every diaper change so that it will dry quickly and remain infection free. Hi debina... being a new mom myself i found water wipes to be the best for my kid (just a suggestion). Plus its always safe and better to bring the baby home in a car seat rather than a comfy blanket sort of thing. Please also add a pacifier to ur bag (baby might need). And add formula i use similac gold... works wonders for my baby... but do add some in ur bag whichever u choose... happy and safe pregnancy...
As a mother of 2 kids I vil suggest u to keep a bowl n spoon for feeding milk instead of bottle.... Doctors usually advice us to avoid using bottles for feeding
Very much excited for the Baby... Your all things are proper for the hospital bag.. but I have a small suggestion that to make shorshe r balish (pillow with mustard seeds) rather that cotton for few months... this is something our grandmothers' used so the baby could sleep comfortably

Put some more daipers, plastic for disposing potty,milk power i will recommend Aptamil,more colths ,blanket,baby net,kajal organic,baby comb , mamaearth hing roll on , anti mosquito roll on again from mamaearth, sterlizer for bottle,bottle cleaning liquid,burp cloth

Hello from Germany. Debina being a biotechnologist just a small suggestion, do not apply soap, shampoo or body lotion on the newborn atleast for a month. A baby is born with natural protection coating on his/her body.

Congratulations Debina! I loved this one, and you remind me of me preparing for my first born. We are in a “nesting” attitude so we tend to go overboard. I didn’t use 90% anything from my hospital bag. What is have is all good for a regular diaper bag when the baby is with you. But overkill for a hospital bag. Enjoy packing it, it’s fun, but you won’t need many of these. Depending on if the birthing is normal or c-section, your hospital days will be decided. Praying for the best you won’t need more than 1-3 days. The hospital should provide diapers, you don’t need to bring your own. You won’t be applying any moisturizer for a new born. New born’s won’t need diaper rash, use baby approved Vaseline if needed. I don’t think you’ll be doing any laundry in the hospital. Swaddle, home going cloths, wipes, diapers only if the hospital doesn’t provide any. For my second one, I learnt not to go overboard. But, nonetheless - enjoy nesting!

Yes n don’t use any soap,shampoo or any moisture…massage with pure coconut oil or olive oil n for nappy rash, use daily Vaseline..when ever u change nappie apply Vaseline..my personal experience with 5 kids..
Even coconut oil give rash and bumps to my new bourn baby...So I had to stop baby oil massge for 1 month...

I am also in my 9 month and I have also filled my baby bag with all mammaeart products..but I have also kept dry sheets, some more clothes, baby blankets, sanitizer and also a bowl and spoon
hi Debina, collections are good but carry few things like Dettol , light cotton clothes for new born, towel also for new born as their skin will be very delicate avoid using diapers as they get rashes soon.. use cloth for early stage their skin are too delicate , sanitizer and soap. Telling you from my own experience that the traditional way of swaddling is the best…I had bought a lot of fancy swaddles myself but ended by sticking to the traditional way 😊

For rashes use cornflour on baby dry skin. Use wet cotton. Then dry out baby's skin and use some cornflour. U will never face any rash problem with ur baby.
Use taped diapers for new born babies not pants ..because they should not feel uncomfortable on their belly cause of umbical cord ..so till atleast some months use tape diapers not pants

INSTEAD OF ALL THIS, the one thing you need to figure out is MILK - have a hand / electric pump ready as well as babies take time to latch on esp 1st time moms find it highly challenging - so figure that out first, all these cute superficial things do not count over milk. baby will cry every 1-3 hrs for milk and make u dance

With baby soap cream shampoo definitely try to get child farm it’s very good for newborn babies I have used it on my child and it’s prone to exzema too which a lot of babies develop it’s a very good product

Just a suggestion, soft muslin towels are important and a plain blanket always comes in handy. Do take cotton balls always very useful for cleaning the baby.

Most things seem fancy..what will really be required is lots of small napikins to wipe mouth and face,bibs , very light cotton clothes with threads to tie which can be washed and dried quickly, bottle not needed at all .. should not feed child anything other than mother's milk fear of catching infection and stomach issues, as it's summer powder is needed

Hello Debina, I love your video. I am from Germany. I am a new mother. My baby is now one month old. I got some suggetion from my Midwife. Please don't use anything which have external fragrance. My midwife suggest me to use only the oil as moisturizer which we use for our food. And as wet wipes use only water based wipes.

Mamas & papas have really nice baby furniture and toys. Being in India it's impossible to order baby changer. In UK there is so much. Lots of choice for newborns. Sometimes a lot of things don't get used. Babies grow fast and time goes quick. Mamas and papas do good baby monitors which you will need.

Stay safe n healthy but as I have seen in olden day the old ladies say that pregnant ladies should not do lots of pre preps for delivery. Its still happening in some places in the world, It's a big change nowadays.
Right now i m 23 i became mom 1 yr before i didn't took anything to hospital becoz my waterbag was broken so i went bt i have done ready a bag in which my 1 pair of cloth n baby 3 pair of cloth n all reports n one towel that its nothing more n u will find easily anything u need at hospital

Well me also a new mom. My baby is 10 month old. I can't suggest u as each Would be Mom research a lot for the baby. No one can better understand her state of mind but I can share mine experience. Keep at least 20 diapers and initially use taped diapers as u can easily set it's dimension across baby belly.I also tried diapers pant of premium quality but it put marks on my baby belly. I am using Pamper active baby taped diapers, initially used NB then S and now M size. No rashes no marks. Secondly as Mamaearth products are good but what ur baby skin suits it's biggest point. My baby skin doesn't suits so doctor recommended Sebamed products which are Germany based.
My comment is lil bit longer but hopes it will help new Mom's. Lot of love and sleepless nights for the new mommy

Babies won't feed Breast milk properly once they started to feed from bottle and they will get infection especially during summer .So avoid bottle feed

Baby powder, tissue, and diaper canging sheet uh have forgot. Please keep in bag that is cery imp. Also keep more cap as its imp. To cover baby head nd also keep some cap or something dor youself as well as ne mom get cold is often right after birth ao please cover your head also hot electric bottle also uh can keep for back pain
Sometimes nipples become unbearably sore due to feeding . Ask your doc about some ointment for that which is safe for baby as well.
