Stay safe guys. Button down the hatches. Your place is looking awesome. 👍 Central NB we have winds picking up over night, not sure how much rain we'll get. Prayers for the rest of the maritimes. 🙏🙏
Stay safe guys. Just was looking at our security cameras and it looks like the wind is picking up in the county so I'm sure it's doing the same over your way.
Ok when i did construction projects with my Dad he told me to quit "choking" my hammer. Hold the hammer farther out on the hammer. Feels odd at first but your aim and strength improve with that. One reason i enjoy watching yall build is it brings back great memories of helping my Dad build 2 bedrooms and a bath on our house when i was 12 years old. I learned so much that summer.
Praying that the winds don't get too strong. We know all about Hurricane's here in Louisiana. Downed trees everywhere and no power for 10 days last year😬. Stay safe!
Thanks for the vid guys…always nice to see Ash smiling (hope all is going ok). I’m sure y’all will come out of the storm in good shape…take care and God bless!
Prayers for your safety and that you don't lose your power. Will be watching the news closely since my son is in the area. Stay safe we love you guys. Please post a video soon after so we know you are okay.
Looks like ya'll are getting hammered pretty good. Hope you don't have bad tree damage at the camp or farmhouse. Glad you're all snug as bugs in a rug, with the woodstove, fireplace, and great munchies!!! Hope power is restored in short order for your area.
Praying that you are all safe and well through this storm. I admire you both for your family and your adventures. May God continue to bless you and your family!
I must have been confused this whole time. I didnt know yaw were on the east coast of canada.maybe i just didnt really pay attention. Hopefully yaw will be just fine. God bless and be safe.
Praying that you guys and your properties will weather the storm well. You have already experienced enough difficulty for one year. Your selection of hurricane clips was just right. But may I offer a suggestion for future use? Down here in coastal Texas we experience category three or four hurricanes every several years. Your selection of heavy gage nails for horizontal nailing applications were right on the money because nails handle shearing loads very well. But the application of course thread screws down into your deck structure would provide superior resistance to uplift forces. Our state agencies perform structural analysis of damaged structures after hurricane events and have determined that screws perform well when utilized to prevent uplift from winds. God bless you all. Stay safe my friends.
Stay safe! I’ll be praying for you guys. We were 99 degrees 3 days this week and finally in the mid 80’s here in NE OK. I’m ready for pumpkin spice and fires in the fireplace weather. Maybe in December😫.
Hang in there Triumphant Trio. Y'all are tough. We've been through Tropical Storms and Hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. They aren't fun, but they are bearable with preparation and it seems you've done your due diligence. I do hope that ladder ended up inside the cabin. Ashley has the right mindset. Do what you can then leave the heavy lifting to God. Hunker down and be safe. See y'all in the other side.
Have you ever thought of putting one rain barrel on a corner of your house to capture rain (flushing) water? We have one on our hunting cabin just for toilet flushing water if power goes out. Set it up on two levels of concrete blocks, install a boiler type faucet so you can get a container under the faucet to collect flushing water. 🙂
Suffering Jesus it was windy over here in Nova Scotia, my front step no longer exists! Wind seems to have died down at around 4am here. Power and internet are gone as well, luckily I have starlink and a generator for backup.
Hope you guys get through this storm without losing nearly a shingle and without any long term power lost and the cabin is coming along good now looks like both you and Jeremy have things map out just in case but I'm sure you've had plenty of Nor'easters but this might be a little different be careful and stay safe my friends God love ❤ ya all
Hope all goes well for you all we don’t really know what it’s like but think we do as in the UK we don’t get hurricanes we get bad wind but they don’t cause anywhere near the damage you get we may lose a chimney pot or stack and the odd tree although last year about 50miles away from use there was a row of about 75trees blown down and that’s about the worst wind I’ve heard of. Stay safe.
I hope all is well in your part of the world. Personally, here in Alberta we don't worry about things like that happening here. But I do have friends near Wolfville, NS that were hit with Fiona that are ok and friends in Florida who are about to be hit by Ian that I worry about.
Jeremy!- I laughed so🤣freakin🤣hard🤣 when you said, "so the roof won't end up in the Atlantic Ocean. ", all casual as heck. Then, Ashley, while i was typing this comment, you referenced the Atlantic Ocean agAIN.. and I LOST IT AGAINNN🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🥰 Oh my God, I love u guys!😄
Good solid carpentry work, great videos too. I see you have some mountains not all flat. Here in NC we have the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi Mt Mitchel at 6,684 feet tall with many over 5,000.
Hopefully Fiona passes through with little destruction to Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick and NL. Stay safe and we will see you guys on the other side of this storm.👍👍🇨🇦
Do u think the husband just Fast-forwards also to the Judy parts of videos. I had me a Judy to once apon a 1998 till 2010'ish when I lost tht Judy cause I was to busy chasing other Judy's. i would say take a flat Board and nail a piece of yiur fire wood to it up-right so the Cat will have a thing to dig into to take care of it's Claws! Stay Safe
Hope you all stay safe! It's nice to have an extra water source. I wanted to ask how long sewesr line are there at the cabin? Here where I live I'll have to have 4-- 100ft lines with septic tank and a distibution box. It sucks around this area! but stay safe and waiting for the next video!
My family love to watch y’all video the music is loud have to turn the tv down then back up to here y’all talk most of the time and then it still here ,, we ask please get some external mic we see y’all don’t ware any . Yes, in this video we didn't intend on making it and put it together last minute with our phone for the most part to share what we were doing heading into the storm. Thanks.

I add my prayers and positive thoughts for your safety. I don’t think that too much could get you two down! (For long).

We might put one out there, having the spring so close is really handy though, so will probably just set up an easier way to get that.
Suffering Jesus it was windy over here in Nova Scotia, my front step no longer exists! Wind seems to have died down at around 4am here. Power and internet are gone as well, luckily I have starlink and a generator for backup.

Vary awesome indeed. Keep up the great work . Okay . keep safe. Okay.
If you have a generator, you can run some essentials like the pump for the water and the refrigerator.
Good luck with Fiona, being in south Louisiana I know what it's like when a storm comes your way.
Very good Video 👍👍
You 3 stay safe

LOL
Hey guys, again a great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Perfect hind quarters
Be marking them Maple trees off around the camp hey.
You should run a hose down to the water with a small pump then you could just turn the pump on and get water from the top.
With all the battery backups and your generator you should be in pretty good shape for power needs
Good solid carpentry work, great videos too. I see you have some mountains not all flat. Here in NC we have the tallest mountain east of the Mississippi Mt Mitchel at 6,684 feet tall with many over 5,000.
Yes, New Brunswick has beautiful landscape.
Hang on!!!
nice ending
Hope you got through the storm ok
Love those gray pants!
2020 Derecho devastated Cedar Rapids Iowa, 2008 Flood too
You can use a ram pump to get the water
Snug as a bug in a rug 👍😁
Stay Safe…. You can use A bag of powdered lime to put in your potty bucket to reduce any smell that you might get from it
You'd be surprised at how well soil works, no smell at all. We do use lime in out houses though :)
Praying for you from Okotoks, AB!!
Hopefully Fiona passes through with little destruction to Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick and NL. Stay safe and we will see you guys on the other side of this storm.👍👍🇨🇦
Cheers mates
Build you a 2x4 ladder and lay it down might help you walk up and down the hill.
That thumbnail got me here.
