Thank you for the tutorial and the detail into the plane instruments only thing is that it was hard to see a lot of the stuff because you weren’t really zoomed in but i still figured out just zooming in makes it easier to see.
@ I don’t fully understand it. You need to turn on the heading and altitude buttons then the auto pilot. You adjust the heading with a knob but I can only get the altitude set by physically being at the altitude I want. I’m doing something wrong with the altitude.
@@aatifahmad Same happens to me, somehow when i press NAV mode, GPS mode activates but i still have the NAV/ROL written with green on the screen and GPS is with white and it doesnt follow the plan
I was changing it with the knob. But AP kept following the green gps altitude and not the altitude I was setting. It may of been bugged. I spent 45 mins trying every control and setting on the g1000 and it would change the green gps altitude all though I had my altitude set to 5k it kept following the gps alt that was auto set at 840
I also try nav mode, altitude mode, vertical mode, etc to see it ap would go to my set altitude. It may of been bugged, because I've had it set before where it followed the purple line and purple boxes perfectly the other day.
The passenger (co-pilot) next to you sits patiently as you explain to us. What a lovely lady

You are a great teacher! Thank you so much for this. It's very nice and simple... which is what I need. :)
Nice video could have been zoomed in more, also when does the use of the mixture come in to use?
I just started using the autopilot, so much better for Carrier missions.
im so confused is autopilot just a one button press in the settings and it flys automatically?

@@d.b.1176 is this the same with all planes or just the Cessna
@ I’ve only done it on the 172. Some planes have a different screen or no screen at all. I’m just grinding for money right now.
@ I wish they would bring back the ai pilot feature to career mode
Nice
Thanks, this was a helpful tutorial
You’re welcome and thank you for your comment. Have a nice day
Nice tutorial, but you need to zoom in on the screen a little more.
Thank you very much for your appreciation and feedback. I will try to zoom in more the next time
I think the auto pilot is kind of buggy, i have to correct the course regularly unless i set it to heading mode it never follows flight plan
My problem is even with everything set up right sometimes when i want to activate ap it just doesn't want to activate so yes ap might be a bit buggy
Is your CGI mode set to GPS and OBS is off in the PFD?
@ yes
Can you share your flight plan with me so that I can check what is the issue. Thank you

Cant you just make a 5 min video on how auto pilot works !? By the way you didn’t explain why it’s not following the gps path with auto pilot !!!?
i cant figure out how to change gps altutude
The left lower corner of the PFD has a knob ALT. You can use that to change the altitude
