Bike Commute | Melbourne

My route takes me from North Melbourne - a suburb in inner city Melbourne - to Cremorne via the Capital City trail that runs along the Yarra river. The distance to work is about 9.3 km one way or about 30 minutes, and there's a 2 km stretch from home to the point where the trail starts. Beyond this initial somewhat busy period of riding in the city, the rest of the ride is fairly pleasant to go through. Melbourne's "four-seasons-in-one-day" weather makes this route interesting because the scenery looks so different every day, and often within a single commute itself!
