Is the packed column in GC polar or non-polar? You didn't explicitly mention that.
The polar components tend to stay inside of the column. It is the exiting of nonreaction of the nonpolar components of the mixture that allow it to quickly exit the column as opposed to the polar components.
It's polar if I'm understanding it correctly. Polar attracts polar

What about Adsorption Chromatography? Can u also explain it?
