I've always had "hand me down" clubs from my Dad or from "yard sales" growing up. The year COVID hit, I was going to get a new and fitted set, but never did. Still on my to-do list. I did end up with a nice new pre-owned set from Callaway. Decent clubs do make a difference. I can only imagine what a fitted set will do. Congratulations to Emily. Good luck!

I haven’t played much in the past 12 years and that I’m actually a senior golfer I decided I want to start playing more and got a set of taylormade Stealths and they have been the easiest hitting irons I’ve ever owned..and the 3,4,5 hybrids are fantastic.. 👍🏼👍🏼

I love the fitters way of thinking. No bs especially about the purchasing. Why spend 400 quid on a driver first, when most of your shots will be irons and putter. Build up the set in a correct sequence.

Aww bless Emily, she's lovely. but Mia, how can you take your friend for a fitting a couple weeks before the new clubs are released? if you had waited Emily's clubs would have been cheaper plus more options available to her.

If she was to give them a name I think "Spider Kalea Stealth" would be a good full name 😁.. On a serious note she did really good as well as the fitter. If anyone is wondering about a fit go for it they're usually free if you buy the clubs anyway so why not.

Cool video! Me and Emily are about the same level and I never even considered getting custom fit because I thought you had to be better before you do it.
She actually found out the clubs she was using (that she got from ebay) had been custom fit for someone else - so was actually making her golf a lot harder due to the specs!

Re should everyone get fit - I always compare it to when buying a pair of shoes online. You''d never let them send you a random size cause the chance of them fitting is basically zero. You'd select a size, which would be fine cause we all know our feet size.But even with knowing our size they might not quite fit or be uncomfortable when you try them on.

Awesome video. It’s worth noting though that if you go for a fitting yourself you shouldn’t really go looking for a specific brand. It’s best to go open minded and try everything to see what works for you. Understand why you would go taylormade but for us normal people I mean!
