Did you suffer with sweating too much? How warm is it? I want to do a custom fit here but worry my hands will be too sweaty and I won't hit the club properly 😂
Gotta love a fitting! I actually had a particular brand in mind but wanted to know shaft, grip, lie angle, length, etc. Even if you don’t buy the clubs the fitter suggests, you’ve got good data and an excellent place to start while building your custom set of irons. I’m happy AF with the results and my iron/short game play has improved tremendously! Next I need to have a woods fitting.

I play Taylormade P790 steel shafts but got fitted at American golf for Wilson D9 with graphite shafts and for some reason could not get on with them everything was slicing right was like the shafts were twisting etc., so bought the P790 at risk and they are awesome clubs, I think the fitting process at Scottsdale was impressive think if I was looking again definitely where I would go.

Have been fitted in the. past. Recent switched from Mizuno hot metal pros to the new 225. Was not fitted. Made some changes myself based on course performance. Love the look perform about same.
I got fitted in March - went for Ping 425’s as I’ve always had Ping clubs and ended up with the new Mizuno’s. They gave me better dispersion and distance was unbelievable. Fletcher like I had a magic wand 😂😂😂👍

I got fitted in to callaway apex never thought I would play callaway but best irons I've ever played just the sound gives you confidence. But my pitching wedge go's way to far big gap between my 52

I’m using the Wilson D7 forged irons they feel great hitting the ball and I’m really consistent with them.

I have these look and feel great, coming back to golf last 20 months want to get below 20 h cap if possible this year
So, I'm curious. Why not go back to the original club you walked in with to see if the hitting changed for them as well when you got tired. It would be more apples to apples then just saying you were fresh and well just arbitrarily adjust for what it might look like if you were tired. The clubs are right there hit 5 or 6 more shots as a new level set being tired.

Glad to see you didn’t get the 130x modus as that shaft is far too stiff. Even the 130s is really stiff. The Kbs is a soft shaft but they’re design has much more feel while remaining stable. I wished you could have tried the s-taper or money taper as they are well, money. Quite expensive though. You are in good hands with a proven all round good shaft when it’s all said and done. Not a cobra guy but those heads are one of their best ever designs. Good luck.

Currently using the callaway apex pro 2021 absolutely love them! Very forgiving but I can still work the ball and they feel amazing

Nice job Alex. Where’s your stamina 😂. Good luck with your new irons. The Mizunos were my favourite I just wish I had the game to be able to play them.

I’m currently using the Ping G series irons was fitted a few years ago and will probably change in the next 3 years or so.

How long in total does it take for a iron fitting and waiting for them to build them?
Being as consistent as you are with your 7i and wanting forgiveness with the longer clubs, I'm surprised the fitting didn't involve you swinging a 4i.
I got fitted for Mizuno JPX 921 tour and Forged in a split set. After a year now I feel like that are abit too much based on being a high handicapper. Might be looking at changing them.
love the idea of the split set!
I'm surprised they didn't use a the proven technology of a shaft analyzer to dial in the correct weight and torque and it was more of a guessing game, but I guess to each their own.
Great vid. How do you know when its worth getting fitted? I've started up golf again after many many years of not playing, so probably wouldn't be consistent enough to warrant a fitting. I also wouldn't know what I would like to improve other than distance....
I’m in the same boat, had my new irons tweaked off the pro to adjust lie, woods and wedges have basically bought mail order

Nice one 👍🏻 I play with 2017 M2s. I like the forgiveness and I'm so used to them I don't fancy a change. As a 13 handicap is it even worth looking into a change? I see these as game improvement clubs and feel that unless I get down to below 10hcp I should stick with these? Also, I'd find a club fitting a bit intimidating tbh 😳 (i.e. I'm not good enough for it)
