I just got the same bike 2024 Stumpjumper Evo LTD in Satin Dark Moss Green in S3. I’m 5.7 and I think it fits perfect,. I love it. Has to work on set up and tunnng the suspension. So many different configurations,

I was happy to be back on rockshox. I swear Fox is almost always over damped unless the frame curve is super linear. Right in the middle for compression felt great to me for most stuff. I slacked out the head tube and rode the rear in the high and really liked that. Recently am trying the rear in the low and it is def more stable at speed. It’s only been a couple weeks though.

Hi, whats your height? I have dillema with the sizing s3vs s4. I'm 183cm [ca. 6'']

I’m 5’10” so it was really a toss up for me. It came down to what I decided to prioritize in my bike. Long and stable vs short and playful. I’ve had both in the past and I decided I prefer short and playful. VERY happy with my decision on sizing.

I'm just over 6' and am trying to decide between the S4 and S5. I test rode the Elite Alloy S4 and it felt a bit cramped. And just wondering if anyone else bought the Evo LTD - its a toss up between this and the alloy.

I watched mtb yum yums video and he didn’t like it for that area, what’s your thoughts on it?

Mtbyumyum rides mostly CC. If that’s all I was riding then I would maybe get a shorter travel bike too. When I ride CC I’m mostly doing Draper DH and Jacob’s though. I’ve never had less than a 150mm bike and would feel pretty underbiked on most the stuff I ride.

@@N8SecondRide I’m in the Colorado front range and never had less than a 140mm bike, here we need all the traction we can get. I feel like he only puts the more efficient climber bikes on top though

Nice to hear your experience with it, but listening to your breathing is painful.
