Hidden Gems are Everywhere - Get out and find them🤘
Solo adventures can have their pros and cons.

Stumpjumper EVO (S3) Bike Check - 1 Year Review
Просмотров 40516 часов назад
I bought this 2023 Stumpjumper EVO (LTD Mullet) directly from Specialized in October 2023. According to Strava, I’ve had about 90 rides, 140 hours, and 800 miles since then. I’ve been relatively glued to technical DH trails over the last year, and I have made some changes to this bike over time to keep up this heavy hitting style of riding. Most notably: SRAM HS2 2.3 mm rotors (203mm diameter) ...
The Gnarliest Line of My Life - Long Way Down😮

Somewhere in Utah… I’ve had a lot of epic rides in 2024, and this one takes the cake. This was the most committing and dangerous line I have probably ever done. After hike-a-biking for 90 minutes, I finally made it to the top of what I was hoping was a biking trail. It turns out it was one of the greatest trails I’ve ridden all year. Turns out… exploring blindly through the woods sometimes pans...

According to the interwebs, your frame should have exploded the instant you installed the coil shock.
That is a cool line!
Good job brother
Nice! I actually rode these for the first time this summer. You oughta hit Bountiful B! One of my go-too’s this time of year. I also feel on my Conti’s I need to run lower pressure than the Maxxis.

@Belico8269 What didn’t you like about the S2? Too cramped? I have short legs and want the shortest seat tube possible for clearance for jumping et al.

@@spicycoco1 Thanks Bryce, it was great riding with you! I hope Nick sets up another ride like that Alta one soon before winter comes.
It was exciting to hear that they're building lift accessed mountain bike trails. I was a bit confused that the first trail they decided to build was a green flow trail? You're a madman, riding that stuff solo!
@@smilesformiles1935 it seems like greens are always the first to get built at new bike parks. Family friendly is the name of the game I guess.
These lines really should not be on RUclips

If you really wanted them to stay secret, you’d edit out the parking lot.
Yeah it’s obvious and not include the part about Trailforks.
thanks for the heat map tip, might be hiking a bike tomorrow lol
The heat maps make all of this possible. Word of mouth can only get you so far...

@@Nonyahbid dude if you’re bored with DV (i get it honestly) you gotta check out PCMR and Canyons for sure!
Good Information! I struggle in the steep sections. I was having issues with my Guide brakes on my StumpJumper. My buddy gave me a used set of Guide RE's. I couldn't believe the difference in the stopping power! It gives me so much more confidence on the down hill. I have the Code's on my Levo, and I hate the lack of stopping power. I found a used set of Guide RE's on Pinkbike for 38 dollars, that I'm hoping will give me more confidence on the Levo?
I would try some upgrade pads and rotors with the codes
@@smilesformiles1935 I actually found a noticeable upgrade in braking power when I upgraded my rotors. Bigger and thicker. I run SRAM HS2 200mm rotors.
Should have went a little further south to Oakridge
You’re telling me! Oakridge was hard on my list of Oregon zones. I couldn’t find enough beta online about steep tech over there. Whatchu think…?
