his new single called famous is so good
Did it survive after the toss at the end? Your reaction says it was hurt 🤣
Spotify yet again showcasing it's the literal worst music streaming service while somehow remaining the most popular...
I had been comparing several music services about three years ago, and decided to stay with Spotify eventually, bcs it's literally the most user friendly service with an extensive library. And their algos just know my taste as good as it gets, recommendations are always spot on. So I can't say which one might be better right now
This. They've gotten arrogant, forgotten where they came from & who made them what they are today: *Us consumers.* They used to be niche when I first joined them.
If I knew this existed I would have bought one
That's why you dont dump money into companies that only want your money. They are not here to help make your life happy.
So pay for nothing ever?
That's every company ever
You realize companies literally exist only to make money, right?
Relax mate. Spotify is a useful service but this product is just not that useful
So every company in existence then
You wouldn't buy anything with your logic mate
Companies do only want your money
Having never played Minecraft before, or having seen its gameplay, I'm feeling nauseous from the constant jumping. Holy shit. The screen just bumping up and down 🤢
YOU CAN CONTACT SUPPORT FOR A REFUND
you know you could regulate billion dollar Corps that make companies release code after they are no longer selling that item. Just an idea. I mean do you own the companies your tax money subsidizes, not really, but should you own the product your tax money funded and you paid for? ABSOLUTELY. Constitutional rights have been legislated away with case law for a long time now. We need to go back to simple America when WE knew what was right for everyone.
I have an old truck that doesn’t have Bluetooth. So I just put my phone into a wireless charger (uses the cig lighter) and then I use one of those Bluetooth/radio convertersz it comes with a remote that allows you to play/ pause/skip. It was like 15 bucks and it does the exact same thing as this
Spotify is dying. With youtube music bundle around i wont be surprise. Apple music and RUclips Music is the future.
It’s not open source but people were able to run programs on the car thing that imitate how it works!
could you link where you found this info? i want to get this on my car thing for when it gets de activiated

It is open source actually, just very little interest since it has a weak CPU and limited connectivity.
It is open source, but it's been discovered that the carthing is kinda dookie hardware-wise. here's hoping someone pulls something off anyways
I've found a lot of use for the car thing mounted on my motorcycle. This kinda blows.
People have already cracked the device wide open. Open source isn't even required t this point the manin issue is that the specs are so bad that it can't run anything useful. Which is likely the real reason Spotify discontinued it.
Its already open-source. But you cant do much with it, very low-end specs.
Ha ha ha. They wouldnt make it open source, where's the sence in that? They made their money and decided to bro out and forget about everything
It's been open source for going on 2 years now. Not a lot of people covered it is all. You should really update that and let people know that.
it technically is already open source, just the hardware is ass and you cant really optimize much of anything to properly run on it
Spotify just constantly doing bad decisions and not bringing standard features to the app... Instead rising the price? why tf am i paying for this?!
That’s fucking ridiculous. You paid for a product.
The device is a linux running chromium, you can do whatever you want with it
Should be straight up fucking illegal.
WAIT. Are manufacturers allowed to do that?
Get a Bluetooth radio hookup, why even use a proprietary device for one app
It is and always has been open source, but nobody knows that for some reason lol
How is that even legal you buy something and they deactivate it?
its already open source
Whoever is smart: make a video on ways to repurpose the device
KEEP IT! Because the community exists and there might be a chance to revive it with a third party service... Don't throw it guys!
Since it's android there's a big chance to fix it
Where did u get the shiny stickers from they look do pretty omg
Does this guy talk on Uppers 💊 💊 😅or what?
Who tf paid 80 for that???
Come on hackers, do your thing!!!
It is open sourced, the hardware sucks though
Years ago people had already figured out how to run Debian on the thing with display, touchscreen, scroll wheel and bluetooth support.
Pretti sure after this nice move from Spotify they will also figure out how to enable WiFi (Spotify never used it but the hardware technically supports it)
it such a cool device, a shame they treated it like e waste now
Just like DLC of ea games
And they ask me why I download my music 😂
Don't buy IOT devices
It is open source. It's based on Android.
I got it for free😂
Opening it up to be hackable is the best thing spotify can do with that,
Other than just continuing to support it….
I wonder if you use an old version of the Spotify app on a Car Thing that is not connected to the internet if it would still work. I suspect it would if you downloaded all the songs as it wouldn't have the chance for the Spotify server to tell it to not work.
It has been open source for a while
That device is SOOOOO USELESS
I'm suing Spotify. .
Yeah Spotify won't open source it 😅
I loved this thing.. was awesome especially before I had a decent infotainment option. Turned it on one day about a year ago and it was bricked .. would not leave the Spotify logo.
Don’t think they promoted enough 😢
friendly reminder that you own nothing
let’s go back to cassette tapes
Spotube!! it's FOSS!!
