The F-15 has the highest kill ration in aviation history, with a kill ratio of 104:0 kills and zero defeats. There have been a few kill claims that F-15s have been shot but, there has not been a single crash site with an F-15 kill. A couple of F-15s have been damaged in air combat but, the F-15s made it back to base. The Iranian AF F-14s have over 120 confirmed kills but have lost over a dozen F-14s in aerial combat with the Iraqi AF.
There's a specialized website, which displayed a very complete list of the kills to losts ratios. Numbers are differing a bit from the ones displayed in this video. In their list, the F15 is recorded with 5 losts from ground attacks, with the names of 2 places. Mirage III is listed with slightly more kills.
The Mig 21 DID NOT!!! Shoot down 29 Israeli Aircraft in the Lebanon War. Israel lost 1 Unarmed RF4E to the Syrian Air Force, and 2 other Aircraft were shot down by Ground Fire in the Lebanon War.
Israel has NEVER revealed its true losses, in any war. Such secrecy is one of the components of maintaining the morale of the nation in a hostile environment. Today, Israel admits only those losses that are recorded by enemy video footage, and even then not always. As for the "independent" investigations of American aviation historians... Try to guess twice - whose side are they on?)))
Same here, just a story of knowledge. In terms of pure statistics kills to lost ratios, the Mirage III is the number one. The F4 suffered too much losts compared to the Mirage III.
@@chrisb7198 I didn't said the Mirage had no loses, but it had a small amount of loses, compared to the huge amount of loses of the F4. That's all. It depends on how you display statistics, if only talking about air to air loses and fights, then yes the f15 suffered no lost, but if suddenly you're including a larger spectrum, with loses to ground attacks, then the f15 suffered 5 loses.
@@chrisb7198 The F-15 never faced the equivalent top fighter from france nor Russia... The Mirage III, MIGs and the Mirage F1 fought fighters which were about on par or even superior to them. The irakish F1 have particularly beaten some F14 tomcat, which was an unexpected thing. In red flag exercices, US Air force have known unexpected knightmares especially against Mirage piloted by French or Greeks. Can US recognise they are not the very best in everything and that they are not always winning against others ? The Fighters ar eimportant, that's sure, but Pilots means something too...
76 kills for the F-16 is a Pre Syrian civil War fig. Turkish F-16s have achieved another 6 kills against both Russian and Syrian aircraft during the Syrian civil war... Bringing the F-16s kills up to 82..

The only impressive one here is the Mig21 as it fought the US army and drained it from it’s fleet of F4s … altought it wasn’t more advanced technologically or anything … just pure solid performance, specially if combined with the right pilot. Most other aircrafts, specially the American ones, had very low adversary, taking down a basic helicopter or an anciant aircraft using a very advanced and expensive supersonic jet and calling it a kill … is a fail for me rather than a trophy. The Iraqi mirages were pretty similar on terms of capabilities to the Iranian F4s. On paper, but on reality the mirages dominated the F-4s, it was only the bigger and more advanced twin engined F-14s with their long range air to air missiles phoenix that took down the F-1s. I wouldn’t call it a win for the F-14. Same with the F-15s and most F-16s kills. The American jets always find some way to pick up a fight against a less advanced aircraft and beat it. I’m waiting to see what would these ‘mighty’ F-16s sent to Ukraine do against a basic Russian flanker from the Russian army, not some old soviet aircraft with limited technologies serving in an army of some poor Arabian country. The Mig-21 was also used by the soviets to take down the advanced F-4s and the very advanced Mirage 3 of the Israeli Air Force during the Arab Israeli war … and they have succeeded in doing it despite the age difference between the aircrafts.
