When you don’t see faces like yours on TV, or the big screen, you MUST create your own channel and pave your own path.
For the past decade, I have used my voice & platform to represent Asian Americans in Entertainment and Media both in front and behind the camera- producing television shows at Myx TV, starting my own RUclips channel covering the most popular Asian American events and interviewing Asian American influencers, entertainers, and entrepreneurs, directing the 18th annual Unforgettable gala, aka “The Asian Oscars”, sharing my favorite Asian snacks & family recipes on @AsianSnackQueen, and most recently, going full time with my tech channel, TechNicki Speaking, representing women in film and media.
10 years ago, people said I couldn’t make a career covering Asian matters. I’m so glad I didn’t listen.

You should try to interview some of the actors from everything everywhere all at once. Probably the biggest Asian American film in a while.

@@nickisun I was sending you the most positive vibes I could manifest 🧙♂️🪄 I'm so glad that you got that interview, i absolutely love her, and of course Michelle, oh my god i love her early Hong Kong movies, she is unbelievable in her motivation and skills from dance to martial arts, and her pedestrian stances, and Chinese road rules that are extremely chaotic. And Ke! I'm so happy for him, his heart is soo big, I'm glad he won, and his Loki involvement showed he is the number one, I hate to say that because he said that in movies growing up so I sound corny, but let's give it up to you for spotlighting the Asian entertainers that in American cinema is like a token character in mainstream, I know that this will change eventually, but it's taken way too long already.
