Fiji voters brave heavy rain on polling day (PMC)

SUVA (Pacific Media Centre). Heavy rain and a flood alert remain in force today as Fiji citizens braved the wild and wet conditions to vote in the general election.

A heavy rain warning remained in force for Viti Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lomaiviti and Southern Lau group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, reports FBC News.
A heavy rain alert remained in force the rest of Fiji group.
