When I was in Japan, I met a Ramen chef that told me "There is no such thing as a master, declaring yourself a "master" removes the willingness to improve everyday, I am 62 years old and I am still learning something new or something that will improve what I do". I'll never forget that.
I just visited your Ramen restaurant today with my father in law for lunch. I already mentioned this to the waitress but I would like to say it again. Your Ramen was the best I have had in Japan. It was so unbelievably delicious. Also the egg rice was amazing. You and your entire staff are very friendly and professional. I've watched a lot of random meal prep videos on different channels, most of which have been in Japan. And i must say, this is BY FAR the best looking and cleanest kitchen ive seen. Much respect to the staff there, who keep their work environment so clean and tidy. Its good for food safety, and good for business.

America is falling apart and it IS sad that so many Americans are too lazy to just work hard for a living so they complain instead about how unfair and racist "the system" is while completely ignoring that so many immigrants come to America each year and find a way to be successful. I spend a lot of time overseas and I only spend time in America because my parents live here or I'd live in Asia and never come back to the US. So while watching this, I got a fresh made pizza in the oven with all the goodies. But I realize.. nothing can beat the cozy-ness of Ramen. The balance of tastes, the oil, the broth, the warmth of the meal itself. There is just something about a bowl of Ramen that is magical and fills you with comfort.
I was just thinking the same thing. First really cold day here in central NY. I'm making chicken bone broth right now, might have to pop out and go buy some noodles and veggies.
personally i prefer pho; stronger and more complex flavors than ramen. the broth is simmered for hours with onion, garlic, ginger, star anise and beef bones. ramen is just kinda salty and fatty. and yes i've been to authentic ramen joints, as much as can be without going to japan.
@@oldfrend i personally think the opposite. i find pho to be about what's in the soup whereas ramen is all about the soup. while the chashu takes quite a while to make...a good ramen broth can take more than a day to make...
I just love how many "Master Chefs" there are on RUclips that just also happen to be young, beautiful Asian women. But nowhere near as many videos about the 80 year old Asian women that have been cooking amazing street food for their entire lives. But, since they are old and shriveled and not hot, they aren't worthy of the same praise and videos. Because when cooking ramen, everyone knows the key to the best tasting food is to be beautiful.
I love the style of the place, it just seems to be such a cozy place to sit and eat. I would love to learn Japanese just so I could visit places like this :)
You don't need to know the language to visit. A lot of Japanese people speak English. I've been there a few times without knowing a lot of Japanese. It's a beautiful place. The people are awesome.

i like to eat soup. if i would be in japan, i would literally go from one ramen restaurant to the next one all day and be happy. when i where in bangkok, i always went to Ajisen Ramen in silom street to eat ramen with beef. the taste was always amazing. i tried to make something similar at home, but never could replicate that beefy taste. maybe i will start with a scientific approach when i retire.

This place looks nice and clean..and delicious. I appreciate that they use timers to ensure the noodles are done and make delicious food in a clean environment.
I highly recommend a trip to Osaka my friend. Its my favourite city in Japan. Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere and night life. A damn cool underground live rock and metal scene. And as I have told you a lot of "Midori" type women walking around.
I lived in Kansai for a decade and always loved going to Osaka. This restaurant has a cool charm to it with the retro stuff on the wall. I think it could be a successful chain in the US since Asian anything is hot right now. America needs a good ramen chain. We have a rather successful Japanese community running many very profitable food businesses in Michigan. The Metro Detroit area is a good and profitable market for Japanese cuisine.

Yes! We need as many ramen shops as we can get out here! Canton is a popular area for it, but Livonia, Westland, Garden City, Royal Oak, they all could use more authentic ramen!
Things tend to go to shit when they franchise out.. Couple of really solid Japanese/Vietnamese/Malaysian joints here in Australia blew up and then the quality dropped as they got bigger.. Luckily there are plenty of solid independents taking up the slack.
It is amazing to watch this young lady cook…Very little wasted movement, very precise…In Japan aesthetics, freshness and prime ingredients prepared by chefs that personify attention to detail.
Great video! One outstanding aspect of food in Japan is it is super safe to eat where ever you go compared to some other Asian countries where hygiene is not too good. This ladies' restaurant looks perfect! Her smile is also beautiful.

Here in the USA we use a curtain of air that blasts down from the top of the front doorways to keep flies out. Outdoor cooking we sometimes use large dome like nets over the food. How do they (Japanese street kitchens) keep the flies/bugs out of the kitchen that are open air like this? Do they just not have a lot of disgusting flies in Japan? I do love how clean Japan is and their exceptionally clean culture and focus on not infecting others with colds and flus.

I highly recommend a trip to Osaka my friend. Its my favourite city in Japan. Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere and night life. A damn cool underground live rock and metal scene. And as I have told you a lot of "Midori" type women walking around.

Very standard looking noodle shop. I miss Japan sometimes. I don't miss the language barrier, but I miss the culture and the people.
I lived in Kansai for a decade and always loved going to Osaka. This restaurant has a cool charm to it with the retro stuff on the wall. I think it could be a successful chain in the US since Asian anything is hot right now. America needs a good ramen chain. We have a rather successful Japanese community running many very profitable food businesses in Michigan. The Metro Detroit area is a good and profitable market for Japanese cuisine.

Yes! We need as many ramen shops as we can get out here! Canton is a popular area for it, but Livonia, Westland, Garden City, Royal Oak, they all could use more authentic ramen!

Couple of really solid Japanese/Vietnamese/Malaysian joints here in Australia blew up and then the quality dropped as they got bigger..
Luckily there are plenty of solid independents taking up the slack.

It is amazing to watch this young lady cook…Very little wasted movement, very precise…In Japan aesthetics, freshness and prime ingredients prepared by chefs that personify attention to detail.
Great video! One outstanding aspect of food in Japan is it is super safe to eat where ever you go compared to some other Asian countries where hygiene is not too good. This ladies' restaurant looks perfect! Her smile is also beautiful.

Here in the USA we use a curtain of air that blasts down from the top of the front doorways to keep flies out. Outdoor cooking we sometimes use large dome like nets over the food. How do they (Japanese street kitchens) keep the flies/bugs out of the kitchen that are open air like this? Do they just not have a lot of disgusting flies in Japan? I do love how clean Japan is and their exceptionally clean culture and focus on not infecting others with colds and flus.
