Romans 6:23 says, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Obey God and live. There is a blessing for those who obey and a curse for disobedience. I saw this in the lesson about Jeremiah.

Thank you Elder Rodney for another great & powerful lesson. This lesson is so relevant to what is happening in the world currently. God is speaking and so many are not listening and just want to have it their way. Our walk with the Lord is not a Burger King experience where you can have it your way. God says it's not so. We must be about our Father's business, teaching and speaking only what's ordained by God. Blessings to you and your family. Soliciting prayers for my family and will do likewise for yours .

Thanks Pastor Jones For Such A Powerful Lesson Taught.I Like To.Give My Response On The Question Ask.About Thy Soul Shall Live And Thou Shall Live.I Believe If Zedekiah Would Be Obedient To The LORD, His Life Will Be Saved And By Doing That Thou Shall Live means He Will Not Only Will Live But His Family Will Live In Peace And Safety And Will Not Die. I Also Want To Bring. To Your Attention That Was Said Proverbs 75:7 And Think It Should Be Psalm 75:7 Thanks I Know It Was In Error.I Agree With What You Was Saying.I Believe That's Why We're Going Through Things Now. Because We're Doing Some Things Our Way Instead Of Listening And Doing GOD'S Will And Way.We Got To Get It Right So GOD Will Bless His Church. Thanks For A Great Job That Is Well Appreciated.May GOD Continue Keep And Strengthen You And Blessing You For His Glory Amen!!!❤🙏📕👂🙌👏💨👍👍👍👍👍🔥🎇🌞😃💕💙

This is my first time listening and I am enjoying the lesson on Jeremiah, my topic in my Sunday School book is Preaching Doom. I love the way you explain each verse and we can bring it home today because we're going through the same thing the Children of Israel went through, not listening to the true Word of God.

I really enjoyed the lesson and I see Jeremiah as some Minister's today and I see a Zedekiah also but we need to adhere to God's Words and we will not go down like Zedekiah. Jeremiah only spoke what Thus said The Lord, yes he was afraid but he had to tell this king what was going to happen if he did not listen and do what God wanted him to do, just keep on teaching the lesson and I will continue to listen and be blessed.

I see types and shadows within this passage. Zedekiah is given a choice. One will save his soul, the other death and fire. Not only will this choice impact his life, it will impact the generations after him. We too are given a choice to accept the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the atonement for our sins and save our souls from eternal damnation. That acceptance has the power to break generational curses and strongholds. But far too many don’t want to hear it. They don’t want to submit to the authority of God. They are too prideful and worried about what everyone will say about them if they are transformed and no longer conformed to the patterns of this world.

The king feared God, but he feared the
People more. With all the unreal prophets around, why did he want
To hear what God told Jeremiah?
      Remember King Ahab. Sinning is
      Not obedient. I Remember the
      Younger days hearing my parents
Words but not obeying theirs words
And rules brings about a painful
      Outcome.
      Jeremiah were obedient. He would
      Not compromised God WORDS.
He would not tell the king what he wanted to hear. Remember the
      Rules of a watchman.
      Ezrkiel 34: 1- 33. God bless

I enjoyed this lesson. I see a lot of comparison and contrast here between Zedekiah and Paul as far as the trouble they had with their eyes. Zedekiah had his eyes goughed after not obeying the prophet of God. Paul became blind as well but sight recovered and he followed God and encouraged others to do the same. I could be wrong but maybe Zedekiah did not want no one else to be king even if it meant him and the city would be destroyed. He was only concerned about himself.
