I really appreciate & enjoyed the Sunday school lesson! Truth verses our fame or fate! If we tell the truth over fame or fate, God will fight & protect us! Letting us know that if God brings us to it He will absolutely take us through it! I pray that we will have the integrative to stand in times of adversity regardless of what the outcome can possibly be! Again thank you Dr. Sis. Teacher & Elder Allen! Pray for the people in this world!🙏🏾
Thank you Dr Tolbert for pouring into us with these lessons. The way you teach and encourage others I want to dig in the word more and learn God's ways. Thank you
Dr. Tolbert excellent presentation for the May 16th Bible study class. Minister Allen Reynolds great detailed answers to Dr. Tolbert's questions. God's blessings on both of you, your families and your Ministry. 🙏🙏🙏
7:56 had me like, ohhhh "Like Jeremiah won't leave me alone. I'm going to sing to the O mighty power comes around, spirit got me so I can't sit down". Yes, this is the song about Jeremiah!!!! LOL Forgive me, I had a flashback and made the connection. LOL I remember that classic gospel song. Don't you just love Sunday school. LOL
Special Insights I have learned: So often when people are angry with what God has said, they desire to blame the messenger. Jesus is a classic example. -BlueLetterBible.
Not everyone is willing to speak the truth especially when one think they have so much to loose. This is where faith comes into play. How deep is your faith? This lesson is deeper than we think.
Another profound yet complicated question - How do you discern when it's time to speak the truth and when it's time to be quiet? Wheww, yeah this is a great question I'm sure we all battle with in our lives at some point. I see why Jeremiah was depressed.

Which is harder to explore the truth or remain silent? Great question.
