Matt that was good seeing all of them Ducks swimming around. It makes me see how a Motion Spread would be of value although you didn`t need one. Nice mixed bag limit enjoyed it.
Great shooting and keep up the good quality videos... Also I see other duck hunting in America were they are shooting ducks sitting... But you are a good sportsman great to see 👌
@@HighPrairieSportsmen me to but its not challenging and sporting I guess.... Our duck season here in Ireland starts September 1st till January 31st.... Just wondering whats the seasons there
You sure have some awesome spots to hunt, figure most are public places in NE,KS. Wished CO cared as much about public waterfowl hunting access as much as states you hunt in. If that body of water was here in CO and a club or outfitter didn't have it locked up in a high dollar lease, the shoreline would be lined with hunters. Sure enjoy and living vicariously through your great content.
Of all the channels I respect yours the most, especially the good shooting aspect of it. I have to ask though, and you may have said before, but why the shun away from gadwalls? Here in Alabama if it weren’t for gadwalls they’re would be a lot of 0 duck days!
Do you like the #6s better than the #5s? I just ordered some #4s and a box of #6s to try because the #5s were out of stock. Seems a little small for big ducks, but the pattern density of those 222 pellets can't be ignored I guess.
@@HighPrairieSportsmen wow. I've never heard anyone say that here in ohio. I got a couple gaddy breasts In the freezer from last weekend, guess I'll be finding out soon
Do you do much scouting ? I am in the south east part of ne and wondering what the best strategy is for scouting. I have visited most of the public spots to scout but no birds. Any tips on scouting birds ?
Yes. I'm scouting as much as I can whenever I can. Here's a video I made on scouting: ruclips.net/video/D5xwAhObb-Y/видео.html Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks Chuck! Definitely a good perspective of how active actual ducks are on the water.

Great hunt as alway!! I have to admit, can’t stop watching the videos til you hit the camera with your hat at the end😂😂
Haha appreciate it!
Looks like a fun hunt right there! Good to see all that water.
It was!
Beautiful Gadwall drake
Congratulations
Thanks!
That was a nice job being patient to watch them do their thing for awhile. Nice limit!
Thanks man!
Great video.... Blessings
Thanks Kraig!

Appreciate it Paul! I've shot them on the water occasionally but try my hardest not to.

That stinks! Definitely need more public spots in every state.
That’s how CA is too.
Another awesome vid bud
Thanks!
Good video Matt!

I could be wrong but I think in one of his videos he mentioned they weren’t his favorite tasting ducks and would rather shoot other species.
I agree with you. There's no bs about Matt. He shoots well and is very ethical. Btw, I'll shoot gaddies all day here in IL. 👍
Appreciate it! They don't taste as good as other ducks around here. I'll shoot them on a slow day or if I see a nice drake usually.
Good to see after many days
Eating alot of ducks
👍
Thanks!
Another home run
😎
Another awesome video congrats on the limit
Thanks Bob!
Great shooting...again. lol
Thanks!
So awesome, I took my new ethos 28 out for the first time on opener and limited out. What shells are you using in your ethos?
Nice! Boss 2 3/4" 6s
Hi bro 👍👍🦆🦆
Howdy
Вітам, вдале полювання, гарні постріли.
Thanks!
I love gadwall any particular reason you don’t go after them?
They don't taste as good as other species. I'll shoot them on a slow day or pick out a nice drake.
what size shot are you shooting?
Boss 2 3/4" 6s

@@erock8299 I love them. Before Boss, I used steel 4s for ducks all season. 6s are about the equivalent of those.
Nice hunt buddy. How come you don't really like gaddys?
Thanks! They don't taste as good as other ducks. They're referred to as gagwalls and gut ducks because of this.
@@HighPrairieSportsmen wow. I've never heard anyone say that here in ohio. I got a couple gaddy breasts In the freezer from last weekend, guess I'll be finding out soon
It has to do with their diet in certain areas. Around here gadwall can usually be found in stagnant water bodies with a sulfur smell.

Are you gonna be doing much goose hunting now that season in Nebraska is around the corner ?
Yes. I'm scouting as much as I can whenever I can. Here's a video I made on scouting: ruclips.net/video/D5xwAhObb-Y/видео.html

I'll goose hunt but stick to ducks until they're closed mainly.
What choke were you using?
Factory full
Awesome hunt man. What camera are you using for that low light ?
Thanks! NX80
