Video compilation of clogged sewers being unblocked and water begins to drain

  • Hello everyone! Welcome to the Plumber Story Channel.
This is a video of moment the sewer is cleaned and the water is drained.
It is my favorite moment to get rid of the blockage.
Most of the this video happens in the sink pipeline.
Korean sink pipelines don't meet toilet pipes. They never ever meet.
This may be the difference from the plumbing in your country.
In Korea, most of the sink lines are clogged with oil.
We have a different system of piping from the foreign country.
There are two sewer lines in the last manhole.
    The two lines never meet.
    They NEVER meet.
Line 1 is the toilet sewer line. It is blocked with poop, tissue, wet wipes, etc.
Line 2 is the sink sewer line.(Sink, bathtub, wash basin, laundry room, etc.) - It’s blocked by hair, oil, fat, and grease.
Korean buildings should be divided into two sewer lines.
    The building law is fixed.
Korean buildings must be built according to the law.
The oil video is Line 2.
    That's in the background.
The following are the commonalities and problems of the houses in the oil video.
Just for oil, fat, and grease.
    Problem 1:
    Many houses use Line 2.
All the houses in the video are multi-family homes.
That's probably the biggest difference from foreign country.
The communal piping is poorly managed.
    Problem 2:
    There's too many curves.
Too many 90 degree elbow pipes. (?)
    Problem 3:
    The pipes are long.
    Problem 4:
The pipe size is too small for many houses.
The buildings that a plumber built thoughtlessly have problems like this.
Well-designed houses do not get clogged.
You think the pipes are clogged with too much oil.
You think Koreans eat too much oil.
You think Koreans throw too much oil into the drain.
No. It’s simply because there are too many houses using Line 2.
This is the problem with Korean pipes.
But people who design or build buildings don't want to change their ways.
It seems I‘ll be keeping my job for quite a long time.
In the future, you will continue to see oil on my channel.
    Thank you.

The drainage system different in Korea vs US. Seems like some areas have poor drainage which causes a lot of standstill in drainage, which in turn allows grease to just sit and stick to things. These kinds of blockages takes years to accumulate, but once its blocked, it's REALLY blocked. Even if you only use little fats in foods, a poor drainage system will collect all of it like its on sale.
    Gunta F
it is not coming out of people, but out of peoples kitchen. This is a kitchen drainage, not toilet. Toilet drainage is separate. If the slope is not high enough, the water flows slowly giving more chances for the oil to stick to the walls of the pipe and build up over time.

Here in Canada, restaurants are NOT allowed to put grease or oil down the drains if at all possible. There are special bins for grease and oil located outside the buildings. It's picked up separately from waste, and quite often. Sometimes grease does get down the drains , and it will clog the lines here too. Nice work on getting everyone back on track. Great job!!!

    • @PlumberStory
      @PlumberStory  3 года назад +14

      Korea is also collected separately.
If it is blocked like this, it costs a lot, so no one throws it away as part of it.
      It is your own damage.
The oil goes down little by little along the drain and gets clogged after a long time.
      Probably it was.

Why is that korea don't encourage people to not to wash down cooking oil into the drain, but instead put them into a bottle for the trash?

This video is a waste of resources. You can create a good video from each of those sewers, why you cut or speed up, we like to see each step.

Are you used to someone's formality?
      I'm trying a different way.
It's not easy to break down familiarity.
      People don't like to change.

@@PlumberStory you are absolutely right. I'm used to other format, but it does not mean that I don't like this format. If I compare this video with a poker game, it's like to view all the cards all at once instead of open them slowly one by one.I like your videos and for sure in your format there are no boring steps, the attention of the viewer is at the maximum, since every scene has been selected and significant. . So far I subscribed 6 channels about this job from different countries and everyone has a different way to work, a different style to solve the problem, and that open your mind to understand that like as for this particular job there are several good approach to solve a problem. And yes, as you say people are lazy in change their habits, but at the end they understand that is not so bad

Have you ever seen anything similar to this video?
I'm just trying a new way.
      You can't know without trying.
You can look at the cards one at a time, you can look at them all at once.
      Who set the rules?
This time, let's take a look at all six of them at once and see one each next

@@PlumberStory Actually I have never seen similar format. Of course it's up to you to decide. I think all depends on the goal of the video, whether it is for entertainement or educational or something else. Based on the target should be set up the appropriate format, it's my point of view, I'm not a youtuber so I can be wrong.

I wanted to make a popular video.
A video that even people who don't like sewers can watch.
I wanted to get away from the video that only enthusiasts watch.
      I just tried it.
Thank you for your feedback. I will think about it in my next videos.
I think you advised me because you had affection.
      Keep an eye on me.
      Give me some sharp feedback.
      I'll try to accept it.
