The games these days looks sooo much better visually and so realistic I don't see how they can improve games visually anymore. But that's probably what people thought of games back then 😂
@@TrickyArmyMan yeah i loved Battlefront 2015 maps, i could play on the four of them (+DLCs) for hours ... I don't like BF2 maps this much ... Even if I love BF2 I will miss BF1 forever

Improving performance and scale! I hope we will see something similiar to the Empire at War Remake in the future, a big scale strategy game with giant space battles and improved ground fights, taking over planets, killing millions with your giant legions of stormtroopers etc. instead of these weird 50 vs 50 fights
Also VR tech is improving a lot, the "new" Occulus Quest already has a really nice Star Wars game, I imagine them becoming even more realistic and awesome as time goes on
@@bluevms10 Battlefront 2015 really nailed the sense of scale. The AT-ATs felt massive but even they were overshadowed by other things in the maps like the huge trees or massive mountains.

They need an order 66 mode/map where the clones are on the bad side and they have to kill 3 or 2 Jedi’s. It’s like Ewok hunt but with clones and Jedi’s.

The Battlefront 2 story had a lot of potential. Would've loved if they stuck to Versio being the villain and she could've been a sort of start to the first order, interacting with Snoke (Palpatine) etc.

Here was the main hurdle with developing Battlefront 2's story: Motive (the people who developed the campaign) were completely forbidden from showing any origins of the First Order, thus why they had to make Iden defect. We see now that during the development of BF2, there was no clear idea where or how the First Order truly came to be. I for one still think BF2 had so much more potential and many other story routes they could have taken where Iden didnt defect 3 missions in and still didnt see the the origins of the First Order. I believe the original plans was for Iden to be an Imperial agent the entire time, but Lucasfilm didnt allow them to flesh out that part of the universe yet.
Looking at battlefront as a whole so I mean battlefront 1 and 2 the two games have changed and 2 has just come a long way, nearly three years of content, it's just crazy but great video

I remember seeing the first one for the first time in a local Best Buy back in 2004. I was so damn stunned and amazed, my excitement was uncontrollable.
ps2 bf2 still hits different than the ps4 bf2. Anyone else feel this way? Not just nostalgia, but the og game feels more in tune with the star wars universe than the newer one does.
Star Wars Battlefront 2015’s Death Star map was pretty cool. Not only did you get to play as R2-D2, but you could attempt to reenact the end of A New Hope on he trench run map. Another cool feature was in the Scarif maps, you could play as a TIE striker gunship, or a U-Wing.
I love the Solo Season trailer. Also, I wish we had the actual city in the cloud city in SWBF2 like we had in Battlefront 2015
I remember this second trailer from battlefront got me sooooo hyped at the time! I swear I can feel exactly why I felt back in the days... miss this!

You will be missed, a game that came out shit because of greed cause of EA, later improving and becoming pro-consumer. A great game that was abandoned because of EA greed in it’s prime. Rip

That’s why I don’t like the new battlefronts. The classic style space battles, being able to board and everything is gone. And of course we never got the space to ground we had wanted so badly

I remember my first time playing on new battlefront’s Hoth map. What an incredible moment.
I loved the first battlefront, so when the 2nd was announced as a kid, I was on the games website for hours every day watching the same trailers and clips over and over, reading the little snippets about the vehicles and whatever. I played the hell out of the demo that came with the Episode 3 movie.
I have never been more excited for a game than I was at that moment, and I still play it from time to time. Amazing game. The nostalgia hit like a shovel when I heard that narrators voice

EA Battlefront 2 had the content but just lacked the offline game/competition that Battlefront 2 classic provided. "We were on the verge of greatness. We were this close!"

When you see that most of the scenes of Battlefront 1 and 2 show actual gameplay from the game while the last 2 shows edited versions

The og battlefront 2 gives me kenopsia and feels so eerie without it needing to be a horror game. Just walking around a empty map feels so nostalgic to a time when I wasn't even alive

Battle front 2015 was the one I grew up with like i rember playing it after school so I have so much memories with it so I pick 2015
yeah same was my 1st shooter when i turned 15 and i put 6k hours onto the game over 4years and still play it when i can today love the game it should be spoken about more

I may dislike EA and their money hungry tendencies, but Dice created beautiful games with beautiful stories. Shame we won't get a full Star Wars experience in BF2, but I've truly enjoyed both BF1 & BG2. Made many friends and shared many memories in these games.

Battlefront 2 has one of the best redemptions, from launch to now.
Not as good as no man's sky in terms of improvement. And the first 2 battlefront didn't need to redeem themselves
