I have an entire family who does not/ absolutely will not see what is right before their eyes. It is the most heartbreaking thing to witness. I feel entirely helpless. When I have tried to bring it up, I get nothing but, "Stop talking about the conspiracy theories." Unfathomable to me.

one sad problem is that as soon as poor people become middle class, they dont give a shit about the other poor people anymore. instead they care about all their newly acquired stuff. indeed some of the most reactionary counter-revolutionaries were once dirt poor themselves.
There is an excellent paragraph in Hitlers "Mein Kampf" on that idea, When you read it it's chilling how insightful he was of this target group of people who are ripe for manipulation.

One must understand the history of the creation in order to remove the tentacles of destruction which, is so far reaching and indepth, I believe the deeper one digs the more exasperating and tiresome it will become. People have become dependent and lazy as they hope one day someone will save us. Collectively as humans we can do it but, we, need not to become what we despise.

This was nothing but there planned laid out in front of our very eyes, knowing 99% of the world wouldn't even bother to look at it, alone take this information in. We've been living in a psyop and everything we know is a lie. Just turn what they are telling you around and there will be your real answer.

This is doing what is done in the US - picking up the story in the middle and letting innuendo do the rest. example Greece is not in trouble simply because the banks made bad investments. They are in trouble due to heavy government spending and little government income. The banks underwrote government largess and now the government wants to blame the banks because the banks want to be repaid. They're not just handing the money out.
AIG borrowed money in one way or another from Deutsche bank. Bailout money was used to pay them back. That's hardly sinister.
In the US the so-called toxic assets were forced on the banks by government policies and threats. So when the banks got in trouble, the government blamed the banks. I suspect the same is true in this video. The underlying assumption is that the banks are simply making bad investments because they are stupid and there is no government interference at all.
Want to stop this? Well stop forcing banks to finance government programs that never, ever work out.

Funny, Ive felt this way many years ago. Now Im being targeted as an individual that is artistic and outspoken. My education has been giving me the FREEDOM that so many fear. This movie inspired me to believe in what Ive KNOWN since I was a child. I've never understood the photographers capturing the literallly starving skeletons of children. I wondered why this is so? Id ask, "Why dont we send them food? Why is it like that there?" My parents used to say, "It's like that because their government wont help them." I responded,"Is a government a robot?"
It was such a complex thing to explain to me. My parents were baffled. Now I SEE WHY? The topics this movie covered isnt an easy read for a child nor adult. Thank you for this movie. Just what I needed. The reassurance that my heart and mind were VERY correct ever since I posed the questions to my parents.
I will keep educating myself and give others help when I can. 💜
In 1970, one of my friends who was a true genius and a Lawyer, announced to me that he was now a Lobbyist in the capital of the country. I asked, ''what is a lobbyist ?''. His answer was so disturbing that I responded, ''isn't that illegal ?''. It was beyond my comprehension that people of his intelligence would do that. Several years later when the government changed, his group failed, and they all declared bankruptcy. 250 thousand dollars of unpaid taxes were written off. A lawyer cannot declare bankruptcy so he resigned from the bar and lived happily ever after with accumulated wealth hidden behind legal loopholes. Compared to him, I have the smarts of a carrot but his actions and the system that permitted them was disgusting. So goes the world.
These people don't play by the same rules as the rest of us. Oh but they expect us to play fair.

Lot of truth in this documentary... however, as per usual... it fails to mention one very important thing.... and that is how "we" the average people living in this modern world, are active participants to the overall problem. As It is pretty much impossible today to get by without having a bank account, most workers wages are electronically placed directly into their bank accounts... and 'where and how' that money is used "we" have no control over. When you hear someone say... "Yeah I'm doing ok... I've got a few hundred thousand sitting in the bank"... well, it's not actually "their money" sitting in that bank... it's "the bank's money".... it may be his or her name printed at the top of the monthly statements... but make no mistake... it's the bank's money... and it's "the bank" that actively uses, and benefits from the use of that money.
it mentioned that continuously... we are aware of the problem - and to be aware of the problem is to be free - simply because gradual change in decision making can occur when people have the knowledge - which is happening due to the internet. Spread this video out far and wide. Think of who you vote for - dont fall for "money will make me happy" or "that big house will make me happy - oh shit now Im in negative equity" - Dont Borrow money - dont get in debt. Dont vote for Obviously corrupt politicians (in the UK - the Tories) - look at where they grew up and what their values are... Its not complicated. You have to educate yourself.
The banks simply need to be regulated and go back to lending what they have taken in through deposits. That's simple enough. But given how much consumer spending is to Western GDP numbers, we as consumers need to use that power because it is in fact, MASSIVE. We need to force the corporate world and our governments that they buy, to be better. We do actually have power.
we.need a.national bank. no more private banks. use the post offices to.collect the cash and we Base it on the amount of gold we have. returning to a gold standard. wiping all fake debts. hopefully take the bankers to prison and take back the wealth they stole

Stop people being greedier is harder to stop than many think. The greed is widespread, and opting out en mass is the way to do it. The main problem is the banks, and you need them to buy a house, (and become isolated and helpless when any help is needed. Get lots of likeminded people together a go live in mobile caravan communities with no real debt, and with like minded useful members to join by being voted in, and work together in jobs that are worthwhile and honest.Up to use the start it. The cops can only move us on after time, and we would stick together, and look after children and teach them useful skills that are pooled in the community.

this is a great documentary that explains a lot in a short period of time and keeps things fresh and interesting by highlighting key figures in economics and finance to support its arguments. the only criticism i have of it is of the comment about "obesity in one part of the world and starvation in another". yes, there is 100% unequal distribution of resources between developing and developed countries. however, obesity in developing countries is another facet of wealth inequity within "wealthy" countries - it's a socioeconomic issue that disproportionately affects poor people and people of color, and should not be used in opposition to the starvation in the global south. these are all symptoms of the larger disease that is our global economic system and the greed of the elite.

My question is this. Why don’t we teach this issues to High School Students?
No, we teach them algebra which probably they would never use, unless if they go into a few professions. We teach them a few other subjects which are totally useless on every day survival. High School graduates do not know how to apply for a credit card, they have no idea what are they getting into when they do. They have no clue what a mortgage represents, or what all that paper work they are signing means. The same happens when they buy a new car which depreciate tremendously as soon as they hit the street with it etc.
In other words we have been raising a Nation of illiterate people, and now we are paying for it. I taught for 25 years and each time I raised my voice about this problem, I was told that I was “too controversial.”
If we want to save this nation we need to start at the bottom with the School System and the bureaucrats, for example make Economics a required class for Graduation, Additionally, we should work from the top: The very rich, the corporations, the banks and the politicians. Additionally, we need to go back to money back up by gold and silver.

You realize with no algebra (or whatever other subjects you want to bash) there would be no credit cards, no mortgages, no car loans, etc. I don't think you understand how absolutely vital mathematics is to civilization. The basis of all things can be traced to mathematics. That's a fact. Economics, finance, many sciences, and an abundance of other academic subjects all have mathematics roots. Why the fuck do I want to send my kid to school to take a class on how to get some sort of loan when a) they could just call a fucking bank to find that out and b) they don't even know how the fuck a loan works because they don't know the math behind it?

Do you understand how complicated the internet and radio waves are? In other countries, their school system is so much more advanced than ours. They teach common sens.
In japan, the student is responsible for scedualing their class. Extracurricular classes are held in very high regards. Homework stops after elementary school.They are not forced to show up for class nor are asked for an excuse, even if they have to suddenly leave a class room. They can even have cell phones! A teacher can kick a disruptive student out, and it actually means something to the student. Because if they fail, they fail.
They are told this at an early age, its a life lesson. They are being treated like adults, because it prepares them for life. And so...they act like responsible adults. As harsh as it seems to us....

Im 22. I dropped out at 16. I was a straight A student(until near the last few years... I got disheartened) I stayed in all honors classes. Half my teachers would not show up! Sens middle school, my extracurricular classes would always be canceled...so wed sit and do nothing. And I mean every year! I had two extracurricular classes my whole school experiences!!!.. I am in collage now....I will get a good education/job and it was no thanks to public school. I felt cheated. like it was a huge waste of my life.
Kids go to school all day, and come home at 4-5pm and do 3 hours of homework. What job does that? its like, they just don't want us to have anytime to think at all. Or be independent. You should read "im a proud parent of a drop out" stories. They are more positive than it sounds. How drop outs used their free time to do great things in their lives.

One of the most fascinating books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It’s funny people complain of a “Jewish conspiracy”, but really its just that Jews were forced to be the bankers for Kings and Queens because Christians weren’t allowed to charge interest on loans according to the Bible. So they were forced into the banking, and were smart enough to perfect and take advantage of the system. Their Judaism has fuck all to do with it.

But, like this documentary says twice, understanding problems is the first step to setting yourself free from them. The best thing you can do is keep a clear heart, mind and soul and hold onto your virtues. In my experience, this helps you shine like a true diamond in the rough; a diamond that could help save the world.
Well - same happened in Germany after unification of east- & west-Germany: people were told to buy flats in east-German cities as an investment. The promise at the time was: rent prices will adapt quick to West-German rates. Unfortunately, they did not. After 10 year government subsidies stopped, rent was still low and owners could not hold their flats anymore. Good for buyers. Flats were sold for half the price the original owners did pay. Happy banks - happy second buyers.
While this is 99% true. One part is not. Inflation doesn't force people to take out loans from banks. Most people do that willingly and happily. People use credit card, and refinance their homes, to buy things they do not need. In the USA people constantly throw out things and buy new. Many people buy things they use once or don't use at all. People buy things just to buy things. People accumulate debt to buy these things. People think buying these items will improve their lives and bring them happiness. You can live well with almost no income. Buy a house and pay it off as fast as possible. After that you can live well with very little money.
