This is great work, Peter. I was wondering if you could do another village in Shuibu (水 步 镇). The village is Kiu Hing (橋 慶 村). About 100yrs ago my ancestors, the Lau clan (劉) went to Peru from there.

I just found out those ducks is own by my classmate we where in third grade he also grew lots fruits trees behind the village because my mother in law still keep in touch with her villager like phone call that how I found out

I was born in Hong Kong so that I am not much a close feeling to my hometown, however when I like cylcing I went back to my village 1X years ago, I felt very warm and became like my hometown very very much. I still have a house of my Dad's (he gone) at the last level of the slope. I went back many times and stayed in my house enjoying a claim life for a few days. Yes, there are not many people still living in the village but many of them are still at Shui Po. Hope to meet you in the future !

白坭坡村，就在我老家附近，我倏村叫做「井水凹舊村及龍和里新村」係水步鎭四條最古老嘅村落之一，建於明朝正德年間。
另外：離白坭坡不遠，在水步墟附近嘅橫水舊村，建於宋朝末年，距今已超過，八百年歷史，係全台山劉氏族人嘅發源地，子孫後代，遍布整個四邑地區，包括台山，新會，開平，恩平，及廣東各地👍👍👍
我横湖老刘是荷塘雷步到里坳到横湖, 班派：学维希孔孟, 道德礼加崇。跟横水兄弟一样, 旧村有很多坟埋在横湖(沙岗湖), 还派了一些兄弟立村看坟(台山人叫做睇山), 村名叫“ 三间屋仔”。

石头现在在广东吗，有时间去恩平市牛江镇西坑水库拍一下，近年来已经听说家乡的水库周边有非法养狗场 猪场之类的，水库水早已经不能饮用 小镇的村都是自建水井水塔或者开车到山边取水，上次在恩平拍的视频太短 没什么内容，多希望去我的家乡牛江镇拍一下
水库边还有很多荒废的小村落，基本是2 3十年前的广西人 云南人搬迁到那里，大概生活过两三代人的样子，现在估计绝大部分人也已经再搬迁 分散到各个城市了，很多以前的小学同学应该成家了

尤金是白水大凉厚村人, 隔河就是六坑村和天和里, 白水是我祖母的家乡, 也是我三大姑和众多亲戚的家乡, 总之, 谭氏是我村刘氏的第一姻亲, 前后左右都有谭氏或嫁去谭氏。

The High Speed Rail station is quite near our village about 1km apart. It is great, full of old town feeling !
