i use the headrush core also for bass and i am happy with it. however, most effects are more suitable for guitar input. For example, the drop effect works great for guitar but less for bass. It takes some time to find out which ones work but i have that even with bass modelers like the zoom b6. I agree with one thing: most effects are terrible for bass but that is for most modelers. It takes time to find the right one and tweak it. Good luck mate.

Bro you are hilarious 😂 "maybe this is a shiddy bass, i have a lot of them." Im a guitarist and singer. Im about to buy the prime and hope that headrush gets their act together soon.

The synth pedals were designed to use for 6th string electric guitar not base

Nope. If you will see the notices there inside a block they write: Use Low for Bass

    Thanks for the review!!!
I recently wrote to headrush about the possibility to split the outputs and they said that it was not possible because of the stereo feature of the effects!!!! AMPERO STAGE CAN DO IT.
If headrush adds thia feature, I’ll get it. If Ampero adds some good specific vocal fx (such a doubler), I’ll buy the ampero. By now, I’ll keep my analog guit pedals for the electric guitar and my tc helicon play acoustic for voice and acoustic guitar.

Surely you can split the Output, not Xlr left/right, but XLR on Vocals and Jack for Guitar. So you've two Signal chains.

@@lying_in_wait thanks. Yes, this is what I already understood. But my need go beyond: two mono xlr outputs (one xlr for the vocals and the other xlr to the mixer with the guitar chain and the amp sim) and one jack output to the amp input (with no amp sims).

@@sampereira1267the same for me. 7 years ago helix was able to do it. Why they don’t…..

Not being able to select how many blocks to use between the vocal and guitar chains was the single reason I didn't purchase this unit. Considering that the unit is specifically marketed as a dual vocal/guitar multi-fx, it's a glaring omission by HR.

There were some requests on their forum to create one “super” path to be able to choose how many from 14 effects you need…. But they did this strange thing 😂
