Is around 350-380whp pretty reliable for stock internals? Im looking at one that has a bigger turbo with all the supporting mods and the guy says its making a little under the 380 whp mark and was wondering if this is a pretty good number or if you think its a ticking time bomb
I have a 2867r 2nd gen with stock exhaust for now. How much power does the stock exhaust rob with an upgraded turbo? I myself am also trying to keep a sleeper look and being quiet is important. Like the setup and sleeper look.
Rustie Shackelford not sure how much but piping is incredibly small compared to most aftermarket exhausts. When in doubt you could keep asthetic stock but get a 2.5in exhaust.
@@bluexnebula6196 u literally pointing out somehting obvious, he wants to know what the stock exhaust is holding back, he KNOWS catless would be great -_-
Really nice build. Mine is pretty similar minus the Aux fuel and brakes. I have the gen 2, 2867... I'd like to get around 375hp. What do you suggest I do to achieve that? I have e85 available and 93 octane.
@@stratifiedauto OK cool so e30 will get me there? Also if I go aux fuel and just want a slight bump in power and the valve cleaning would you suggest the 4 port or 2?
Estimated 430 crank hp, 3300-3400 lb car, just enough to barely keep up with my stock 2013 C6 GS Vette or 2019 5.0. 12.4@115 in the 1/4 for both the vette and 5.0.
You are forgetting what power to weight ratio does for a vehicle. 413whp is around 30whp more than a stock coyote 5.0 makes (They typically dyno at 370-380whp stock), and it weighs around 500lbs less than the Mustang Gt. 350whp in these vehicles is enough to win a race against a bolt on coyote mustang. 413whp is enough to beat a fbo, e85 and tuned 5.0. Whats really fun is that the upgraded turbo kits for these vehicles are only around $2000. No one is saying these cars are a replacement for a dedicated sports car, but they are great platforms and if you want a daily that has a the capability of being faster than most people's weekend cars for cheap, this is it.
Do I need to use a Cobb AP for a gtx2867r gen 2? Or I will be ok with the ecu tune that comes with the turbo kit ?

What kind of mileage can you get if there is an economy type mode available.
I want to build my focus st same like this, you van send me the full list of modification?

The exhaust is off center tho!!
Thanks for the walk around
Are you using 93 at the pump? I only have 91 available. Just wondering what the power difference would be with the same setup
91 you lose 20-30hp to 93 on a build like this.
Damm also is it ok to run 91 Ona. Stock st ?
Is that oil filter higher capacity?and do you have the model number? Thanks
For those who see this and want an answer:
FL400s -- bumps oil requirement to 6 quarts

You need to be catless
@@bluexnebula6196 why?

For 375whp you are just on the edge of the stock fuel system. So we can tune you to that level on pump gas with just a touch of ethanol.

Beautiful
What’s the exhaust system size?

Michael leabo has a great St and not just him there’s a lot St’s pushing over 400 hp on RUclips
They also weigh 3200 for the st3 and about 3100 ish for the 2 and 1, clear the tire and the trunk extras and you’re almost below 3
