I have that one. They also came in silver but I'm glad I got the wood one. The headshell is non standard but it works well. Something seems to be wrong with this one. At the end of the record the record should stop and then the arm pops up. I didn't hear the electromagnetic actuator clunk that lifts the arm. However, the platter does stop so the blade inside that trips the sensor is working.
I have two Garrard decks A DD75 in beautiful condition and a GT35P also in excellent 'fettle' But the DD75 is much the better of the two, better bass with the same cartridge Ortofon 2M Red swapped from the the GT35P and with it being Direct Drive zero wow and flutter Ortofon plays better than new..

The auto lift is a common fault with the magnet face oxidising....clean with a cotton bud
