- My 2016 dually with Dans diesel performance 64mm turbo, hsp piping, S&B intake flo pro 5” straight pipe, airdog lift pump, and ppei tuning. Tuner was in level 3 and tow/haul turned off thru whole video.
I can't believe the boost response . Truck sounds amazing!!

i have the same exact set up... hates when i got it deleted u couldnt hear the turbo but as soon as i put that 64mm on it was a whole different story
Truck sounds INSANE!! What type of transmission tuning do you have? I HATE the factory GM shift points sooo much!!!
Ppei trans tuning. Truck now has a billet s480 compound set up and a fully built transmission. I Need to make some new videos.
@@darrenleonard339 I’ve tried there site but can’t find ANY tuning for deleted trucks, only for emissions compliant trucks. I’m trying to get trans tuning ASAP so any help you can offer would be GREAT!!!!!!!

Did you have to tune in order to run that turbo? Or is can i just replace the stock one with it and go?
Got to be tuned or she will build way to much boost and smoke a lil more off idle.
Did it improve your dead pedal? Mine has bad dead pedal and I’m looking for improvement. Currently I’m running a airdog 150, 5” exhaust, and a 150 hp tune.
Next I’m thinking of the 64mm turbo, cold air intake, and a pedal commander.
My lml won’t even spin the tires. I think I have a bum tune.
the dead pedal can be fixed with tuning. mine is better than it was but not like my lly

Do you have headstuds or anything done of that sort?
Nope all stock below the turbo. Still builds pretty much the same boost psi just comes in harder and holds it till higher in the rpm’s Under heavy load it will run about 36-38 psi. Till about a month ago if this truck was running it had a loaded trailer or a 15k lbs 5th wheel behind it. Its my daily driver now.
Do you have stage 1or 2 64 mm do you have. I tow a lot to I keep mine in tow all the time to. I just want to get better turbo.
It’s the stage 2 Dans Diesel turbo tows great spools like stock exhaust brake works like stock egts are lower.
How much harder does it pull then a stock turbo?
Pulls quiet a bit harder than the stock one. You feel it more in the upper rpms where the stock one is at its limits, this one is still digging.
Did you delete your exhaust or did the stock work
You can use the stock exhaust
Do you have a cp3 converion or stock cp4?
Stock cp4 with airdog lift pump. Stock trans and converter.
What are you average MPG?
Any transmission upgrades?
Just ppei trans tuning for now. I use the truck to tow a 15k lbs 5th wheel so I keep it in level 3 90% of the time. I know it won’t last if I drive it turned up all the way very much.
Darren Leonard thanks for the reply and yes I want to put a turbo in my truck but I don’t think the transmission will last very much since I’m always on tune 5
You would probably be ok as long as you don’t tow anything. I tow a lot so I keep it turned down. I love the turbo can’t really tell much difference in spool up. I did tow some in level 5 and egts never got any higher than before in 3. But the converter didnt like it at all. Lol
DMAX JERRY i have the same exact setup but my turbo is from duramax tuners... my truck is sitting on 230k always on tune 5 & i haul hevey 5 days of the week with stock trans
did you have to retune your truck? when you put the turbo in
30lbs of boost is all???? The stealth will produce more.
It will hit 38 lbs all day long. And probably more when I get the trans upgraded.
