You can hear the 744's fire warning go off behind the pilots transmission

Johnkinsey Summerfield 744 is shorthand for the 747-400, in ICAO codes Boeing shorten them for the flight plans etc. so a 747-400 is a B744, a 737-800 is a B738 etc,

Not sure it could be since Sully came out of LGA, not JFK.

Is the term Heavy only used in the USA by air traffic controllers or do all country's use that term in transmissions. I watched one of the big russian Antonovs land at LAX on you tube and air traffic control was identifying the aircraft as Super in the transmission but the russian pilots were not saying super in there transmission back to ATC when they replied.... Just curious thanks.

The terms "Heavy" and "Super" refer to the weight of the aircraft. The Antonov is heavier and can generate a bigger wing vortex. Aircraft are classed as : "Light", "Medium", "Heavy", and "Super", depending on their aircraft weight and the associated wake turbulence they generate. ATC spaces the aircraft based on their classifications so as to avoid one aircraft flying into another aircraft's wake.

*countries. Apostrophes play no part in plurals and you were never taught that they do so why do it? Missed the class on take-off-the-y-add-ies too?

Mr. Summerfield (not his real name) is about 68 yrs old retired spook. Counter-INTEL background and they make the best stories. Except John always wanted the other work. Maybe he done it. Time will tell. Lives in Georgetown expect a visit.

A speedbird used to be a Concorde supersonic passenger liner.

All BA flights have the call sign "Speedbird" as did BOAC before that

Deep Bass - speedbird is the callsign used by every British Airways flight, it wasn’t limited to Concorde.

Speedbird dates from Imperial Airways in the 1920's.

No it isn't. Speedbird is British Airways callsign. Speedbird Concorde was Concorde's callsign. It's quite amusing that you took the trouble to leave a comment when you're clearly completely ignorant.😅
