Hi Ace, i have a question for you. I tried the Ring of Starless Skies on the landslide/lightning storm build. It really makes a huge difference on essence management. How well would you say it does in the build? Did you try it?
Is this build the best pulv build to push pit and bossing? Maybe the maxroll version without starless that use windshear as resource generator is better for bossing? What do you say?
I’ve got a rouge would it be beneficial to try and slot the crit damage?

A true builder in my opinion, 🎉 always appreciate and wait to compare my builds to your ideas and builds. We always have subtle differences but fairly similar which gives me hope for myself with theory crafting.

Gave it a try - extremely satisfying to play, boss performance is slow though :( Question: Is the "chance to vuln" on the ring enough to justify not using Exploit glyph. I tried using and not using it and couldn't tell much of a difference.
is really a s-tier that pulverize gear so i can use a fun gear until they release new season 5? and you use bloow howl for healing too and quickshift so you always regenerate ur health

Nice pulverize build brother! I'm still playing slide storm, Its probably my favorite. I'm thinking of testing wind shear with andariels . Just to see if I can make anything happen
I thought about slidestorm but my pulverize is pretty strong and don't want to downgrade
landslide is still my fav core skill, but im happy they made pulv viable, we lacked a good bear biuld
Effects that trigger off of spending X amount of resource should scale down the amount required with resource cost reduction

banished lord talisman and grizzly ult together could actually be good. did you test them together? x200% crit multiplier from ult and you can increase the duration.
Looks good. It has been so long since I used the Constricting Tendrils legendary node that I almost forgot that's an option. I'm gonna yoink that for better poison uptime on my Pulverize build. Lol

I don't understand the Aspect of Retribution. Do we stun or knock down enemies often? Or should I be rolling stun on tempers for the lucky hit chance to stun?
....and now I see Raging Pulverize stuns.

Retribution is bugged and does more dmg, but if you have a really good legendary ring and no resource issues, you can take out Starless sky for changeling and get a dps increase

I switched from Wind Daddy to this Pulv and I'm having more fun. I like it better because of the huge AOE. Was able to craft a Starless to go with the Shako today.
The hero we needed! I'm in the minority that loves pulverize. Happy to see it shining. What are your thoughts on the S5 changes regarding Shepherd's and Pulverize?
I run wind shear and enchant my weapons with it. & also run to where it poisons. Spamming it when low spirit builds spirit back

What is your Overpower % chance? My gear is juiced but I feel like I never land Overpowered hits
Overpower % chance is always 3% and cannot be changed. Skills/abilities can make an Overpower guaranteed though, which is what is going on with this build.
Played druid as a companion build this season and really don't have the drive to build up another character through pits :\ I hope they eventually fix the wolves movement / aggressiveness in future patches.
Might try pulverize come season 5 :)
I'm so glad they are changing Shepherd's aspect, it's boring seeing the same old companions that don't do anything other than the buff damage
What’s the point to still play if you have level 100?
As far as I can tell my paragon board is exactly whats on the planner but I only have 26% bonus on Earthern Devastation - anyone know why?
You need 1x tempering with Crowdcontrol dmg - example on one of your rings. - rest is Earth crit. strike chance

Im following your written guide and have all the gear nearly identical. But i noticed you dont have any damage to cc on gear. Copy pasted paragon board and my earthen devastation is only at 26%. Not sure what im doing wrong.
Figured it out. Your build planner says to get earth crit chance but you actually want damage to cc instead of
If there is something make Shred is also a storm skill, it's broken too
Shepherds change is gonna smoke these builds and I don’t think the buffs to the innate power of the core skills to make up for it is gonna be enough…
trying the build got the gear you're describing for the most part except the venom on the neck, not sure how you're generating resource during single target boss fights..
You really do not need to spam that much on boss, you can almost spam with ss tho. It really depends on your spirit gen being GA on boots.
I copied this exact build and have 8 or higher masterwork on everything, but I don’t have harlequins or the ring uniques, but I’m only overpowering for like 30 million. Don’t get how you’re overpowering for 100’s of million dmg. I have dmg to poison instead of distant stuns. And I have extra companion on ring instead of the unique. But just don’t see how my damage is so different

I've tried this build nearly identical stats and - though it doesn't hit as hard because ranks to pulverize on gloves and ranks to envenom on neck are ridiculously rare - but my biggest problem is sustain, even with starless skies. The only way I can combat this is by either equipping an umbral aspect on a ring or by sacrificing damage for spirit per second and spirit regen and cost reduction on other gear
You are spamming too much, you overpowers are timed anyway
I think I'm out to next season. Still burned out on pulverize after launch.
Ace, you are the best druid, period. I dont play any other class than druid. The build is cool and nice. But, i barely completed tornado build and dont have enough power to farm for pulverize now. Besides, if you want to accomplish higher tiers with the build you're gonna need 2 ubers. I'm playing since the beginning of the season and not a single uber drop. Spent sparks on Tyrael because i used to die a lot. Cool build tho. I really they did this in the beginning of the season. Playing werenado for a year and im really bored.
I'm using the non uber version and i find i am running out of resources in the middle of a pack of mobs, i wish i knew what i was doing wrong
Do you have the Umbral aspect equipped?

Thanks again for update. Tried it yesterday and seems its a druid's best farmer at the moment for sure. Feels both tanky and with decent damage. Even nerf to sheperds next patch wont really crush it i believe?

Love the build but without the users i have serious spirit issues especially on single targets and bosses
And since I am having spirit issues would it be smart to try to get starless skies first?
I just use banished lords. Its bot much of a damage loss b.c better uptime of OP. Eveything else is the same just about. Except no starless. I put lucky hit on earth skill aspect. Earth crit on wepons. For temper x1 and crit damage temper on other. Vuln on hit is a must on ring. And i put shepherd on ring. Build feels amazing flys through pits. Use fury aswell untill i got a good chest. On wepons i also have lucky hit spirit. 0 generation issues dont even need blood howl i do use it for attack speed. I end up using the damage reduction base lightning strike or something.

Ace I have been following your Stormslide build here and I have really been hoping you might do a "final" video on it that explains some things. Like why it isn't worth it to put ranks in Tornado or use the Vuln Tornado upgrade and I was also wondering why more ranks in Landslide itself wouldn't be good since we are spamming it. I also wondered about the specific aspect choices and why even though on the budget version you are using Shepherds but not Stampede. Thanks Ace!

@@Goblin-Inc Oh that makes me sad as it seems much more expensive this season to try things out myself with tempering and Masterworking in the mix with enchanting costs. I was also thinking the budget paragon board might be better than the Uber version as well and that maybe you just didn't update the Uber version with moving and all.
I had similar questions about the build too but there have been no videos explaining the latest changes which is disappointing. Dropping subterranean killed my damage so I don't get it. Sadly I am concentrating on my new barb, not what I wanted to play but blizzard is run by idiots so if I want push it can't be a druid 😢
@@Wrathlan Go to Lilith and try your dps with and without spamming landslide. I tested it and it's more dmg to just cast landslide.
@@Goblin-Inc I don't doubt that is true but I don't kill lilith every day, I run pits every day and not spamming poison creeper with subterranean is way slower. Even pit bosses felt worse. Anyhow it is a fucking cool build and I enjoy playing it more then werenado so thanks for putting it together.

So you are saying the whole freak-out and the sky is falling video when the patch was released was not necessary and all you had to do was cook a build?
More like...the freak-out over patch release was warranted because the changes/buffs were rather lackluster, but some changes/buffs occurred nonetheless and we are resigned to making the best of it.

To make Druid work they should have:
1. Add 2x 1H weapons (if so tiny Rogue can handle them then such a big boy as Druid can wear them too)
- this means 2 more gems, 2 more offensive stats, and 2 more offensive aspects
2. Reduce spirit cost of Core skills by 30% so Pulverize from 35 to 25, Tornado from 40 to 30, etc
3. Remove some useless stats from Uniques (Insatiable Fury, Wildheart Hunger) and add Spirit per second because regular Chest and Boots can have it.
4. Add native spirit generation like Sorc has mana generation by default
5. Enhanced Pulverize should make Pulverize Overpowers every single time. Too OP? Pulverize can hit for 400mln while Barb's Flay bleeds for 1.5 billion per second!
6. Remove "up to" from Legendary Nodes like Earthen Devastation so Druid would have some "infinite" scaling as Barb has
After all these changes Druid still would be worse than Barbarian but at least from some D-tier, it would become a solid A-tier and 140+ PIT pusher.
I like Druid and I like Pulverize and smash everything with it but when compared to Barb (or even HeartSeaker Rogue) dmg is sadly not there other than once per couple of seconds.
Lets go do a new build :)

banished makes sense but it sucks to lose all the damage and flexibility a legendary amulet offers
It's laughable how bad Necro is. With full gear bone spears do anything between 2m-8m and that's with full skill rotation. Even factoring the attack speed of the spears it doesn't come close to 200-300m hits every 0.8-1 second. Blood is a joke because we rely on huge overpowers every just to do 30m depending on gear :) So we're stuck with either mages, golem (1hit cheese) or shadowblight which uses ebonpiercer bug amulet to stack damage. I just created a druid and it's crazy how many possibilities exists for the class in terms of the skills, passives and aspects and even the class uniques. The thing that baffles me the most is that adding skill points in Necro's core skill is almost redundant for most skills but other classes have good scaling on their cores and of course some even have OP basic skills (ahem barb...) 🙄
I just roll all willpower and life on my items and use grizzly rage instead

No. A barbarian in half decent gear can hit for billions of damage, while a min/maxed druid can hit for millions. The numbers do not lie. While I enjoy Druid it is not coming anywhere close to touching the numbers or speed other classes are hitting this season. Rob is clearing 115 Pits in 90 seconds with whirlwind. Show me a Druid that is clearing at that speed/level.

@@user-gd6pw2vx1tbarbs have the adavntage of having 4 weapons meaning 4 offensive aspects + 8 tempers.
That gap is going to be difficult to bridge unless they make the druid specific system much more potent as well as numerical changes on skills + aspects.
