Such a fun build. One paragon board suggestion - on the Bloodbath board, next to the Thick Hide rare node, you have an extra 5% Damage while Fortified node you can free up. I'd suggest moving that point to the Targeted rare node on the Flesh-Eater board for the 72% damage to elites and 22 intelligence (with Gravekeeper at 21). Keep up the good work!

You don't have a good way to proc lucky hit but its still probably an okay option

Do you have suggestion for use with Harlequin Crest? that seems to be easier to find than a greater afix cooldown helm.
Which aspect are you willing to give up to make that happen. I feel like all of the are required to have the appropriate damage output. However, if it can be done and still push that’d be cool.

@@AM-qo1be You can drop grasping veins very easily. With a couple of greater crit chance affixes, you'll overcap crit anyway.

This is crazy, thank you - will the written guide be updated as well? There seems to be some old info in there, like taking Corspe Explosion and triggering it with Blood Mist. I do need to play the midgame tanky version as the final one with Tyrael just breaks me... not sure how much HP I need to hit or what I am doing wrong, but I get constantly oneshot in 80s Pits, and Bosses take really long to kill. That does not happen with the Bonestorm version. Feels safer ^^
Hey Goblin, As a newer player / somewhat lazy boi, Is it possible at all to drop a ring early on for the Auto raise skelly epic until pushing harder content, i've found it fully automates the rotation and helps generate essence without having to spam Raise Skelly, Really enjoying levelling a new necro with this setup thank you!
why abyssal it doesnt give much stats is it ok to switch to territorial?
would it be worth adding +6 mage mastery to a golem build for additional damage? i use a golem build where all masterworking is golem damage priority, but i have +3 mage mastery on pants, and another +3 mage mastery on a set of gloves in storage. just wondering if increasing the mage's damage in a golem build would be better or worse. i could essentially add +12 to mage mastery for the loss of about 10% crit chance off my gloves
I have a question, since ive been away since S1 but what about the Ring of Mendelm? Is it still good?
You have the Grasping Veins aspect on your second Ring and i dont plan on using Corpse Tendrils do you think that Mendelm is a good idea?
Grasping Veins crit damage doesn't work on minions last time I checked last week or so. So unless it is in the patch notes don't use it! Now that could just be for the golem.
Pw4nwyf did a video on testing it like last week or so.
If so it frees up Harden Bones then.

It isn't! It is all minions. It doesn't raise their crit damage at all.
ct is like the best grouping ability in the game and necros only way of applying vulnerable
@@eddyspaget4198 Honestly i dont really like it, it does way too much, plus it doesnt fit the build i was talking about.
I dont care much about vulnerable since the build is already busted in terms of damage and cpuld use other things such to supllement that since i can proc vulnerable through Lucky hit very often and my Bone Golem.
Corpse Tendrils and Decrepify are stupid, basically mandatory on every build, i hope in the future they change that.

I have a question. many use the two-handed sword, and others use the two-handed scythe. They said that the scythe provides more damage to the minions, I wanted to know how much more damage it provides?
Why the summoning damage on rings, and how does that buff work? Also, the x3 skeletal dmg, and x2 summoning damage is not updated on the linked build.
You want Mage damage, I just have bad rings. Summoning damage still effects Mages its just a smaller number
I feel like I don't see abhorent decrepify proc, like ever. I know its lucky hit based, but I must have the worst luck because the last few hours I've been playing I watch. Also, is the paragon board and skill tree accurate for the BS Mega Tank variant?
its a bug with aphotic it goes off every hit when your skele wars (reapers) swing, you need to use that aspect. You also have to actually have your priest buff up
So I am about to trade in my resplendent spark, do you think I should get Shako or Tyrael's Might first?
You are throwing if you don't get Shako first
Ruse something else thats worth noting that i never see mentioned is rolling a + to essence on your boots or chest (if you arent running Tyreal). Its not hugely important, but it literally allows you cast Blight on every pull through a dungeon without ever getting low on Essence. Even in your clip here i noticed you getting low fairly often during your clear while being conservative. It feels like a big quality of life to give up an int or max life roll somewhere to get this. I didnt tjink it would be that great but it really does feel much nicer having it.
Ha! I remember asking you about Aphotic aspect on stream, vindication! I'm still not convinced by the Control glyph as its not super good vs bosses (unless staggered). Feels like Scourge, Mage, or Darkness would be better/more consistent.

What about using a 1h and offhand?

Maybe by going with an 1H+Focus/Shield for the extra aspect slot?
I was thinking of equipping the Soulbrand unique which with Bone Storm should be better for survivability than even Tyrael's Might ?
You can if you don't mind losing a lot of damage. Bone storm can be useful if you find yourself too squishy. Try it out and see how it goes.
Can i use this without tyraels might? I never get ubers.
Just make a new character for Helltides! I've got 3 from leveling a new Necro, and killing tormented duriel on my old.
I actually got a Doombringer either from Duriel or Helltide chests when I was level 80 at the start of the season. So I could break that down, but my barb may use it if i ever decide to play him.
Anyway it is super easy to get to level 18 reputation with the Iron Wolves just doing Helltide. I hear the Sorcerer is fun so I'm going to level her up.
I've been using that aspect day 1. Didn't know it was game changer lol
How much did you pay for that Amulet? I have farmed so much and have yet to see a GA Hellbent or Gloom, let alone both...... I need that RNG

100%. Get your attack speed bonus+minion attack speed+attack speed granted by frenzied
What changes would you recommend for HC?
Run Hardened bones instead of blood getters and run max life instead of int on rings and gloves
Hardened bones on your neck, bone storm instead of army of the dead and take shielding storm aspect as well as ultimate shadow. Also run a wand and shield with DR GA.

there is nothing that Druid can do to make himself usefull, let alone pet build thats super weak.

@@activoDS druids are a little behind but I was referring to the wind shear build comments. I’m not sure what makes it more ‘disgusting’ than any other build. It made for extremely fast leveling with no unique needed. A rarity for druid
So I've been running the golem set up some day one. But I really like this better. Just have to completely re great 😢. But I like this way better

This is the video I've been waiting for. This is the sign to swap to mages since sometimes minions already killed the mobs even before the Golem run and do his thing xD
On low end content that happens. Not in high level pits. Mages are great though. I die less and it's easier to play.
You do know they way you are playing you aren't getting max bang for your buck from Hellbent Commander, right? You need to be close to your minions (their arms glow) for it to even work.
What about bone spear ? Is it worthy anymore on this season?
Eh its okay. I wouldn't play it personally. Someone did a 109 playing it
I saw a version with 2x Ubers clear pit 107, it looks fun and still slays bosses.
I replaced tyrael with Embalmer aspect, getting blood begets blood in the paragon while keep 7 glyph. That's another 15% dmg boost.

I'm running mages and Im pretty close to craft my uber. I really want Shako. Should I settle for Tyrael's instead?
It's definitely better. Shako is only good if it has ga cdr

going from 5>6 mages is just 20% more dmg, ofc blighted will trigger a little faster but its almost unnoticeable
Running this build. It's pretty hard to hit ~78%+ res + AC w/ rubies. I made it with all +100 int gems & a crit on +Armor.
I held top 1 spot too, but I had to stop pushing. lmao
thing is golem can leverage the cdr very well. I've been abusing this with a shadow minion build all season.
I have tyreals and still squishy af. Die in one hit even on pit 90 lol. 80% resists, max armor, 35k life. And I use hardened bones aspect oo. Not sure what else can do
Same here, I have no idea how that should ever work out.
This build it wont matter if your in pit 100 or 125. Youll die the same in some scenarios. You must play carefully and always spam tendrils to keep monsters away. And move around your mages never stay still

@@zuuhl3703 I'm currently using this build, No where near as juiced up as Goblin and I'm absolutely flying through pits; First time playing necro and mediocre gear and I'm almost at t100, No holy bolt :) holy bolt will just juice this up further, For now however I'm using Crit % elixirs or Fort elixirs for harder stuff

It's better for setting up pulls but does nothing on boss. Imo crit is better
Im currently working on a hybrid golem/ Shadow Mage build.
You can't split the damage between them and be as effective as focusing on one or the other.
@@mcarr416ix Curious about this. I run a focus skele mage like this build. Only diff is +6 golem chest and missing out on the x30 crit buff. The 150x buff plus the cd is up quite often with all the cooldown bonus. Even with no bonus damage my golem one shots large groups.
You need Tyrials might for this?
You can play Hardened bones instead with int max life and then probably armor. This is actually better against physical attacks but is worse against magical damage. Overall tyreals might is better but Hardened bones is still a good option
You can play without Tyreal's, I'm clearing up to 110+ without it no real problem.
I followed his mid game build. Got Tyraels might switched to this endgame build. Now all i do is die. I dont understand its so bad.
Same here. I need to keep the midgame Bonestorm build... the Tyrael one seems to need 2 or 3 GA items with high mastercrafting and huge HP to survive.
The 21% dmg multiplier from the blood getter isnt for the minions. It just gives u the heal. So its useless

@@peterswe86 He has a couple 100 kills at 4 and 7 min. Crazy fast actually. Competes with robs speed clears on bash
Grasping Veins Aspect damage does not work on minions! Definitely a better option then. Can keep Harden Bones then probably.
Still get the crit chance buff which is massive even if the other portion is busted
All those 6-7, man I can’t and won’t spend the time to get there till next time they changed everything again, then all my effort becomes trash, the money and materials is insane
I prefer the play style of mages; just feels better. But the only thing I don't see is mages leading or competing on the HC Necro board. You sure it's really tankier?
Yes, tbh hardcore is not very competitive and builds are not pushed very far
@@rusecruize9280 Yah I'd say my two favorite builds in S4 are Mages and Heartseeker. BTW I think you should see how far you can push mages in HC pit! Get on the leaderboard and make a mark!
can you level with this build ?
its a joke to level. mages eat everything easy. only the pit can struggle since the boss dmg is garbage after 90. i prefer the focus and a staff for the faster atk speed. corpse explo over blight

The holy bolt elixir is banned on maxroll leader board, the clears you're referring to use the elixir to do most of their damage

Why does your gear says imprinted Aspect? but it has 5 affixes and even Greater Affixes, yellow only have 4 affixes after tempering no? I’m a noob
I've tried using blight but I feel like I can't keep it up as often as I need. At least compared to corpse explosion.
It's mostly for single target tbh. Spam raise skeleton to generate essence
@@rusecruize9280Blight sucks for everything except the boss. It has so little area of effect and it's useless for like 95% of any Pit. It's hard to give up for that 20x multiplier on the boss though. I hate Blight though, it's poop.
@@rusecruize9280 What about using bone prison + the aspect to proc blight ? Adds a huge life shield, and more cdr reduction.

Make sure you're standing near your Mages, keep up your decrepify and then spam aod and corpse tendrils

How is the mage build better than golem? The golem build abuses aphotic as well so I don't see your logic there.
The Mage build has a similar ceiling while being tankier and being much easier to play. Better uptime on corpse eater, able to sit in blood mist without losing too much damage etc. Both builds pushed to a 127 Mages just have an easier time with it

@@rusecruize9280 I can't agree on mages being easier. They give you a hard time eating each and every CC effect and attacking random targets. Not having the golem active ability is a curse rather than a blessing.
On golem, you would look for physical damage and thorns multipliers (shadow would be just for shadowblight passive), while on mages you would focus on just shadow damage.
I dont think ill ever be getting that amulet lol, that would be rare asf

I cant seem to find HBC on my amulet to save my life.. I have been minion necro since day 1 when the game came out an i Have only found 2 amulets with that affixes on it.. Its crazy i found 3 ubers since the game came out (nowhere near alot i know my rng is trash lol) and only 2 amulets wit that affixes. I love farming in video games but this is wild lol.
Skills are rare on amulets now
Try rolling amulets with obols, I didn't find a single one before rolling for it

Why is holy bolt so stigmatized? Do you ban shattered sorcerer from the leader board? For me it's the same thing.
Leaderboards should be just top clear no matter what is being used unless it's a cheat.
So in a way I can't say this is representative leaderboard. Top clears for necro are far beyond 127.
I agree with you for the most part. Imo maxroll banning it was super stupid, however the builds doing the highest clears with elixirs are super similar to these builds
Because Blizz said they will nerf it and indeed in 2 days they will have "fixed" the issue and minion builds will suffer massively if they used it

This is good news. I was turned off by necro due to not being a fan of golem and thinking mages couldn't compete, but I might just have to go back to necro now and check it out.

Idk. This build has been around. Looks like click bait to me. Golem is still top atm.
I was basically the only person pushing Mages this entire season until the last week where the leaderboard is suddenly starting to fill up with Mages. The leaderboard went from me on Mages against all golem to having almost half the leaderboard being Mages. This happened in part because of the new tech as well as some changes to paragon, stats, and even what aspects are being ran. The build has been clearly improved and its presence in the meta game has substantially increased
The build has always been around but was never necessarily considered a meta in the past.
Otherwise nobody would watch this video. With other words it’s a clickbait

Golem allways better. Scales better, better endgame, paragon, no cd ability.
By the data you're wrong, the builds are extremely close. Comes down to gear and player skill
im kinda discouraged playing a build that is showcased by a character with insanely crazy gear that is basically unobtainable. Showcasing it with average gear is way more more intresting

You really do your best to sell this as "the best". Yeah its a great necro build but its not better then golem or worse then it. The playstyle is the difference. Everytime this "look at me i found the best build".
Both builds peaked at 127 at worst they are the same
I wish you guys would go back to making step-by-step guides in text. Staring from level 1. And ending at level 100. Like it does me no good, to tell me what you use AT LEVEL 100, when I'm starting at LEVEL 1. Does that makes sense? Level 1 can't get all those aspects right away. And all those great rolls? Nah not till after level 60. Please think about these things.
