Emerging details from a four-minute phone call made by a military pilot to an emergency dispatcher show he was pleading for medical help after he ejected from an F-35 fighter jet and into a South Carolina resident's backyard.
The resident of the home, in North Charleston, first tells the dispatcher: “We got a pilot in the house, and I guess he landed in my backyard, and we’re trying to see if we could get an ambulance to the house, please."

The 911 operator is completely confused
She's thinking "Wtf is happening rn shouldnt he be calling the f*ckin Military?!"
As a 911 dispatcher for 23 years I would think this sounds fake
Most of them are idiots
Probably looking for ejection in the flowchart
they're confused no matter what the case
I don't think 911 operators have a script for this one! LMAO😂
Everything's OK...the F-35 is toast, but only cost several millions of $$$$. Not to worry, just up the rate on our loyal US tax payers! The loss can be easily "absorbed"!
I thought she was doing fine till it was obvious she was worried about his injuries, and missed there is a plane crashing somewhere.
Good on him for calling 911, I guess that's the protocol, 911 then the Base.
@@maryannfitkin9891 you know how much a F35 pilot worth, more than few billions

Where’s your F-35 dude?
That operater is so lost its priceless
Operater:Do you have any bleeding
Pilot. : i can't see myself.
🤔👀💀
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Operator: “But can the other person see you?” 😂
The 911 operator's brain melted when she could not find an input for "ejected from airplane at 2000 feet". I'm surprised she did not ask "Are the other drivers involved in the crash okay?" I was a cop and I know she was following what she was taught to do... but still.
Why the hell is the pilot even having to call? Shouldn't the military be on top of this from the get go
Brandon is so proud.
The recording is actually hard to believe because of that reason. I know of a VERY few times in history that soldiers used the public system to call in airstrike/rescue coordinates or evac... but this just seems VERY farfetched since its such a secret and high end piece of tech within USA itself... why would he need to call 911 instead of his commanders or am i to believe that theres no emergency comms in these kinds of situations in THIS day and age :/
It's complete BS! We demand better psyops
Look at the recruiter's and who we have running our military and tell me that they're on top of things. If we actually get into a real war with someone like China we will get the s*** kicked out of us we will be speaking Chinese
This aircraft will never be “found”, because it’s not “lost”.
Operator- What caused the fall?
Pilot- "Gravity ma'am."
0:22 “….. Okay and what caused the fall?” 😭 idk why but made me laugh 😂
“Okay and what caused the fall?” Me “oh I don’t know maybe just maybe I ejected from the aircraft
"My f35 was attacking the ground and the ground fought back"
An ejection seat would definitely hurt your back lol
I read somewhere that pilots actually lose height after an ejection. Upwards of 1” is possible as it compresses the spine.
@@BroiledSourGrapesGuess it's better to be a bit shorter and not really be able to do anything strenuous again, than to go down in a firey explosion 🤷♂️.
The pilot is like wtf is she asking me?....
I love how he clearly explained that he ejected from a plane and she's still taking down information like he fell off the roof. 😂
When you accidentally hit Y in GTA V
Thank GOD you are safe brother 🙏
The plane just taking a joy ride
😂😂😂
Calm down, you're hearing less than a minute of this call. If it's like my area dispatchers, she likely has questions she is required to ask for types of calls. I kinda doubt there's an "ejected from plane, don't know where plane crashed" option in her system. As for why she isn't immediately dispatching responders, she has to figure out what is needed. The priority is the pilot. Are there injuries? What caused the fall/ejection could have caused injury as well.
Then she needs to try for more plane information. I'm sure the government will be very much involved but again, not priority for the dispatcher. The responders will have to figure out where it crashed. Wrecked planes tend to be on fire, you're going to need Firefighters. She will also need to determine if EMS is required because the plane wreck could have hurt other people. If that's what my dispatch tells me, I need to know if my patients are on a highway or housing development or a variety of other possible variables.
In short, leave the poor woman alone. She's in uncharted waters and has a lot of things she needs to figure out very quickly. Especially since, as I said before, you're only hearing the first few seconds of this call.
Common sense was missing..
This is the same vibe as getting an insurance call and replying with “you hit a what?”
Dispatch acting like its a test
Man these humans be like confused AI
Rough night. Lost my plane 🛩️ Cheers 🍻
I am pretty sure the operator thinks he was saying he fell down the stairs or something.... lmao
- "Okay, and what caused the fall?".
- "Uh... an aircraft failure.".
- "... Okay.".
What is she, stoned?
Yeah, my check engine light came on 😅 Before you know it this thing just shot me out 😂
Crazy, she doesn’t get a call like that every day! The computer system probably has questions she has to ask and answer!
Something fishy about this .
He dident contacted military he called 911 what confidence
F-35 pilot : Is this 911?
911 : Yes sir how can I help you?
F-35 pilot : I need MC Dolands 6 no 4
and A large Soda
This has to be the dumbest 911 operator I’ve ever heard. How is this situation that confusing.
my mumma once saida stupid is stupid Doe'sa 😂😂she can't comprehend airplane crash.
This 9-1-1 dispatcher shows her absolute incompetence for sure.
Mmmmmm tell me when a military aircraft crash and the pilot ejected and call 911 in history....
In competence in military communication is. Bro can the pilot at least have a radio in the helmet when he ejects.
I wouldnt have blamed her if she thought it was some kind of prank.
Yeah, I'm not sure who asks "how far was the fall" when dealing with an ejection from a plane. I get they have scripts and stuff to help with speed and clarity and all that, but I'd imagine the script is more of a suggestion than a rule.
@@DieuDeMort Not to mention that if there is a procedure, it probably applies more to an actual combat situation
I mean, she wasn't perfect here, but saying this is "absolute incompetence" over a 15 second clip in only one of the hundreds or thousands of calls she's had is disingenuous at best. Weird thing to say.
You know that pilot was eating a Double Cheese Goliath with extra cheese and drinking Guacamole Gamer Fart 9000
Suspicious
Pilot deemed unnecessary
EJECTION IMMINENT
So you're having a Cheese Goliath and a "GAMER FART"
I would not believe this was even a legitimate phone call !
911 operator was not prepared for any emergency of anykind
911 operator was totally confused.
Who asks how it happend and afterwards asks are you bleeding
This is a game. It’s not true!😂
Why he is calling 911 and not his bosses to get the aircraft safe?
My thoughts exactly!!
He ejected so not sure if we have any means of communication
injury or possible fire wherever pland crashes
He's probably still in the chair or a tree someplace in south Carolina
In german news it is said that he landed in someone's backyard and he called 911 and told them that what seems to be a pilot just landed in his backyard
Preset questions or not this 911 operator lacks all common sense. 🥺🥺🥺
When you're feeling bad for a mistake,
Imagine crashing a 150 million F-35 💀💀💀💀💀

Best Prank Call to 911 ever.
She doesn't realize she's talking to the actual pilot and once she does she has no clue what to ask next 😂
Shouldn't he have called his ready room and not 911? If 911 had to be called, they could have done that.

F-35 Lightning
Who trained this operator? Please give her some MORE TRAINING...
Lol i want to hear the whole thing, this woman is completely clueless
Yea, I feel like he called the wrong people...her screen of scripted questions don't cover fighter jet crashes ❤
911 operator: "Okay, what is the address or cross streets of where the plane is?"
Bro he knows he’s getting demoted
From a legal standpoint this pilot NEVER should have called 911. The military has a chain of command, use it. Every word he utters on that recorded line can be used against him. Especially if the plane lands in a playground. Let the navy's attorney notify the local authorities. The attorney could have called just as quickly as the pilot did.
Sounds like pilot failure not aircraft failure.
The meaning of bumfuzzled
She was not prepared for that, at all. And I don't blame her.
The operator just asks if she can read his fortune.

Pathetic responses by 911 operator.
Scarry.
My God she acts like she doesn’t know what to do get in a hurry
While she talks to him she is putting info into the computer and other people dispatch the call. Sweet lord people tour your local 911 center and learn something
OK, what caused the fall a severe lack of thrust with the severe increase of gravity
He definitely got dared to eject from that airplane.
There is nothing like jumping out of an $80 to $90 million dollar piece of advanced weaponry. Bye-bye tax dollars.
I’d rather lose a lil money than one of our troops that’s the most disrespectful thing I’ve ever heard anybody say! Think before you speak didn’t your parents teach you anything bout respect?!
@noahandcamsadventures1296 Read my comment again and try to think of it as a good comment. I wouldn't mind ejecting out of an 80 million dollar advanced weapon to save my life. It is our taxdollars, and I said bye-bye. So please, you be respectful in your commenting. Make sure you read it right, ask questions, and then determine if it should upset you.
@@shanepallette the way you worded your comment came off as very disrespectful and negative towards the pilot and why are you saying bye bye tax dollars we should be saying i hope the pilot is okay not oh my tax dollars noo
@noahandcamsadventures1296 Did you watch the video? It's literally the pilot calling in that he ejected and had lost sight of the plane. So...... I knew the pilot was okay and safe.
It was the tax dollars, wasn't it. Can't say it didn't trigger you. Wasn't meant to. This loss is worth it for this pilots life.
Imagine how much money is being spent on just the Trump convictions and all the Biden investigations. Probably more than 80 million.
It dounds like she was the one that just ejected.
😂
You pointed it at a highway
So that’s what is in my yard
That guy is no trained pilot.
Is there a list of questions they read cause I feel like if operators could use their common sense too things would be done a lot more passionately
Seems the VTOL version of the F-35 keeps crashing
Well, few airframes have been lost.
More than 1000 F35’s made now.
That’s more than Typhoon/Eurofighter, more than Rafale.
Accident rates: (Class A rates)
F15: 2.36 per 100,000 hours
F-22: 5.49 per 100,000 hours
F18: 2.84 per 100,000 hours
F16: 3.45 per 100,000 hours
Harrier: 11.4 per 100,000 hours
F35: 1.30 per 100,000 hours
However, there is a LOT of F35’s now flying
In fact the F35 is the best-selling fighter in 40 years.
And more amazing? Well, they lost none during the testing phase.
And the F35 also has escaped the so called “bad” early years in which we often see high crash rates.
So, for example the bad “early” year for the F16?
They had a whopping 17 F-16 crashes in ONE year! (1982).
And even more amazing there are more F35’s flying now than when that bad early year occurred for the F16.
And even the fan favorite and loved F15 Eagle?
They saw eight (8) in one early year - 1978.
And from 1995 to 1996, 10 F-14’s were lost. From 1991 to 1996, I believe the total is 30 F-14’s lost.
The F35 not really had that "worst early year", and given that over 800 F35's been made - that's more than any newer 4th gen jet right now.
To put it mild? The F35 clearly by HUGE margins has been shown to be one of the most reliable new fighters ever built, and most safe in terms of pilot’s fatalities.
Another one just crashed. Damn this thing keep getting crashed or something happens every few months. of course, only the things that go public and unable to hide we know of. I wonder if it is truly a huge, corrupted program that fooled other countries to buy this jet. But the so called "statistics" says otherwise
911 be like: is the jet armed?
“Ow my back, and my neck”
Sir your broken shit is not attributed to military conduct…
But I ejected out of a plane and got scratches
Pilots are so meticulous that I have a hard time believing this is him explaining a military situation
My first question would be how is he ... THEN ask about the billion dollar jet.
Why are the women who walk at the call centre so bad at their job
This is the 3rd or 4th ejected pilot in the last year. Something is wrong with the F35. Wonder what it is.
Lots of things but nothing critically wrong. It’s a new aircraft being adopted having its first generation of pilots trained, these are called teething issues and with 450 in service, losing about 1% of them isn’t exactly ground breaking. Go look up some older fighter aircraft and they all have some problems early on in service, usually getting hammered out within a few years
Wow bro I would’ve never knew that a *NEW* jet would have PROBLEMS like come on bro it’s called fuckin innovation and testing for a reason dumbass 😂 (for the Original Commenter not the other reply)
Can you imagine having to make this call😂
2000 feet? Is that high? Seems like 1 to many zeros to abandon the craft
She had one job in this situation: escalate the call.
She is way out of her depth, her scripted questions dont apply, she is trained that the immediate step is to escalate the call to a more senior person. *sigh*
common sense fears the 911 lady.
😂😂😂 what caused the fall.i think in her mind she's thinking this guy is at a skate park

What caused the fall?! Are you kidding me lady
Isn't there a military hotline for this stuff?

Pilot:.....I ejected from a frigging plane!
"What cause the fall???"😂
Umm, I decided I didn't want to be in the AC anymore!😅
Of course your back hurts, you had to eject using a rocket boosted seat
