- Many speculate Gemini at Cedar Point closing in the future to make way for a bigger and better attraction. This is my first concept for what they could add in the space - the largest GCI wooden roller coaster! The theme of the ride pays tribute to the classic Cyclone coaster that closed in 1951.

This is my first Gemini Replacement video, and I have ideas for two more possible concepts in this spot! Comment what you think would be a good fit in this spot, and subscribe to see these additional concepts!
I have an idea for this too... Since you did GCI, why not also do a version, this time with Gravity Group as the manufacturer. I suggest you try to base it off the Jungle Trailblazers in China, since I could see something similar coming to Cedar Point if they chose Gravity Group, but even taller
I made a concept but windows went poop cause I got a new motherboard and I lost it. It was an S&S hyper. Breaks every inversion record imaginable.
I can't remember the name of the Coaster concept but there is the dueling GCI prototype that was debut at some kind of expo a couple of years back. If CP replaced Gemini with that? That would be awesome! This coaster is GOOD I think in true CP fashion and in honor of the original tallest racing coaster (when it came out).. This one would be HOT if it was racing... When I went to CP in 2019 i was wondering if either Corkscrew or Gemini would be on the chopping block. I think if this alone replaces Gemini it would be almost like a copy of Mystic Timbers at KI... With all of the open space (no trees or anything like that) Something that shocks the eye has to go there.
@@citizenoftheworld79 I know which one you are talking about, and I don't think it had a name. I think it was said to go to a park in China. Either way, I was planning on making a similar coaster for this spot too!

I like this concept the best out of the GCI replacements for Gemini that I've seen thus far. I don't think Cedar Point would want an inverting GCI with the similarities to Steel Vengeance in the eye of the public, even if we as enthusiasts would not consider them that close. Something like this, that would be close or even break the record for height for a pure wood coaster, would be fantastic & marketable.
Why do you think Cedar Point will replace Gemini?? Dude, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!! Gemini has a HUGE Historical Significance, and not only that, it is the only tallest, steepest and fastest Hybrid Racing Rollercoaster the Late Great Ron Toomer designed in his collection of Hybrid Rollercoasters.

I do too! I am hoping to ride it again this summer, but I do believe it will eventually be removed. Only time will tell!

It was having maintenance troubles in 2020 and as a regular visitor last season I can confirm.

I really love that this is your basic up & down coaster - - no upside down or multiple twists that go on & on. Also I love wood over metal.
That first drop reminds me of American thunder at Six Flags St. Louis

@@ChristiantheCoasterGuy I would really love to see that replace Gemini. Maybe it could break the record for the most inversions on a traditional wooden coaster. I would also really like it to be a hypercoaster as well. Cedar Point really needs a large modern wooden coaster since Mean Streak was converted into Steel Vengeance.

I can't see them getting rid of Gemini anytime soon. Gemini is iconic and the only racing coaster in the park. Corkscrew or Iron Dragon will probably close if they need a lot of space.
That's what we all thought about Vortex...
Personally I think that Cedar Point has become too loud and cluttered with rides over the years. It would be nice if they had a 'Central Park' where families could have picnics and kids could run around. Just a thought.
They have a place like that but are you really complaining about a thrill park having too many rides😂😂😂

How do you get those two strips that run along the track?
You use the light pattern creator under the advanced tab. Enter in the dimensions you want, put in a wood texture, and generate the sco object

You can use any wood texture you want, but you will have to recolor or find new ones for each new coaster.
Although I like this they definitely won’t be getting another woody in my opinion they always go for records and I think they will do the same with their new coaster

I don't know what you mean... if you are talking about the transitions I tried to emulate the style of GCI coasters.

I like the concept, but it DEFINITELY CAN NOT HAVE THE TRADITIONAL GCI MILLENNIUM FLYER TRAINS!!! THEY ABSOLUTELY SUCK!!! PTC has New Trains that looks exactly like the Crappy Millennium Flyer Trains, but they have the traditional Racheting Lap Bars that you see in the 2 bench cars. They will deliver much better Airtime.
