Is there a video where you put everything back together? Especially greasing everything out. My z650’s swing arm has small rusts and wish to powder coat it. Thanks!

Good recap of the process. Were you able to get everything reassembled this weekend? It's a big task so it'll take time no doubt.

Thanks for the good words. I am in the middle of putting everything back together. Glad the videos are around because I had forgotten where a couple of washers went :P. I am trying to find the torque specs for the swingarm bolt and coil over shock bolts. Don't want to spend the $191 for the service manual from Kawasaki. They should give those service manuals to the motorcycle owners.

@@StreetMotoZ A service manual would be nice, yes. The only thing online is a digital only version of the Kawasaki Owner's Manual on Kawasaki for the Ninja 650. But it won't show assembly related stuff unfortunately. Just the basics.
The OEM Parts guide might help slightly for the Ninja 650 for the order of parts. Best of luck.

Hey I don't know if you would know this but with how the swing arm is held on, would you say I would need to remove the rear wheel and jack up the swing arm so I can remove the bolt to change the right rear set and brake assembly out? Need to do that after I had a rough crash and not looking forward to this at all, ideally was thinking of getting a long thick punch or metal rod that's about the thickness of it and pushing the bolt out while replacing it with the punch so it does not drop the rear end.

Yep, the right rear set is the rear brake lever assembly which is held in place by the swing arm pivot bolt and a single screw. To replace it without having to take off the back wheel and swing arm, you might be able to jack the rear of the bike up resting the bike on the passenger pegs, so light forces are on the swing arm pivot bolt. I like the idea of using a thick punch, like a piece of PVC pipe or socket extender to keep things in line. Haven't done this before so don't have direct experience with it. Let me know how it goes! That pivot bolt does have a torque specification when you put it back on.
