Master Yoda’s best form, Form 4 Ataru. A lightsaber form that uses the force to put more blows in your lightsaber attacks and to apply the force to your leaps and momentum to render yourself more agile ; allowing the user to always put their opponent on edge and always guessing; getting them to perform the unexpected in order to get the surprise attack. Form 4’s drawbacks: Inefficient against multiple opponents and small tight spaces since agility wouldn’t be possible.
Nice analysis. You're right about the tight space drawbacks- we see it happen in ROTS when he fights Palpatine on a very small, highly elevated platform.
Rest in peace, Christopher Lee.

In Yoda’s particular case, Ataru is also a way for him to overcome his height and age that would otherwise restrict him on lightsaber combat
