  • Chirp Wheel appeared on Shark Tank and I love the product. Here is a tutorial on which size to choose. www.jdoqocy.co...
    I recommend this product to my patients. Especially those with mid back pain, stiffness in the shoulders and neck pain. I also use the chirp wheel myself. My favorite after having them for a year is the large sized chirp wheel (as long as you can keep balance because it is the least stable of the 3)

      Never use this product (or a foam roller) in your lower back/spine. It leaves you at risk for some painful sprain/strain in your back! Regardless of who tells you this is a good idea, I assure you it causes more harm than good.

      @@robmoorman8487 inversion tables are fine when used at the correct angle (only about -20 or -30 degrees), and when treating conditions of the back that aren't disc related or radiating type pain. Most people go totally inverted causing muscle contraction which becomes a pain enhancing therapy.

    a little late to this video but I enjoyed it. seemed real.. I dont care if you make some commission, you put the time and effort into showing us why. My back is all messed up, at least two herniated lower back disc's and I am almost scared to get another MRi since jts been awhile. these look very interesting though for upper back or hammies... but concerned jt might cause a reaction.

    • @TheWellnessDoc
      @TheWellnessDoc  3 года назад

      I'm so grateful for this comment. Thank you. As far as the lumbar discs are concern, go ahead and get that MRI so you can KNOW the status of your discs. Otherwise it's just a guess. Once you have the results, then develop a plan to address the disc issues. Once you have the plan, it will make decisions on what you actually need a lot easier to make. I agree, don't mess with these wheels right now because there is some instability when using the chirp wheel. You can control your discs, don't let them control you. There is hope. So you say don't use it on your lower back but can you use it on the middle of your back to help reduce lower back pain? Will doing it that way help to loosen the tight muscles in your mid to lower back to help ease all that pain and in turn you'll be able to crack your back? My muscles in my mid to lower back are so tight that I can't crack my back and can barely turn to the side.

    • @TheWellnessDoc
      @TheWellnessDoc  3 года назад +1

      I would do stretches for your lower back muscles. If the pain is where the thoracic area meets the lumbar area then you can still use the wheel for that area by curling into a crunch type of position and rolling the wheel in the mid to lower back (I wish I could show you a pic or a video to illustrate it but I am unable to in the comments section of RUclips). Let me know if that makes sense or if you need more explanation.

    • @courtneymorgan1727
      @courtneymorgan1727 3 года назад +1

      I will try that because I have a lot of tightness in that area. Hopefully that loosens me up because nothing ever has! Will a chiropractor be able to help if my muscles are as tight as they are or should I try loosening those muscles first and then see a chiropractor?

      Fair comment. I should have said “it depends” with the following situations.
      I like the 12 inch wheel BEST for taller people or someone looking for a gentle stretch.
      I like the 10 inch wheel BEST for people who are looking for a more aggressive stretch/mobilization primarily in their mid back.
      I like the 6 inch wheel BEST for people who need the highest intensity mobilization in their spine as well as relief for glute and hip pain and tightness.
      What worked BEST for me was buying all 3 so I could use a different wheel depending on what my goals are that day.
