- Since I started documenting my experiences of living in Ghana, I have shared many of my family members, my friends and my home here on the channel. It is with sadness that I make this announcement but I need to provide an update to you since you are all part of my family.

Sorry for your loss Dear sister. Death is a hard and a painful thing to deal with, but as a person who lost his mother on Christmas Eve, I feel your pain, but one thing for sure, God will ease your pain in time. Prayers are going up for you and your family! 🙏🙏🙏

Jasmine! I'm VERY SORRY for the loss of your grandmother. I lost my mother in 2017 at the age of 92 but I still talk to her because she's never really gone. Jasmine, she'll always be with YOU! Yeah!

My grandma was like a mum to me too, and part raised me so your story really resonated. It hit me so very hard when she passed suddenly so I know what you’re going through. It’s been 13 years and I still miss her. Hang in there, it does get a bit easier. Wishing you and your family every strength at this tough time. x

I have personally gone through that having been raised by my grandma. The bond is great and it's difficult getting over it. I had to accept the fact that she lived a great life and impacted many lives. Choose to celebrate the memories and what she stood for. I was able to overcome the loss by that. Once a while her absence will hit you for real but please cherish the good times you shared. May God be your strength.
