I have lived in Canada and now living in the USA...the USA has more opportunities for immigrants than Canada...all 50 states have major cities with lots of work...in canada major opportunities with high salaries are mostly in a few major provinces like Quebec, Ontario, Ottawa, BC, Alberta, etc...and most of these high paying jobs in canada are mostly in the capitals or around the major cities....The USA on the other hand has major high paying jobs in almost all cities in all 50 states...and you have many states to choose from unlike canada, whereas majority of canada is unpopulated with vast lands in the country side paying less than you will earn in the major cities like Montreal, Toronto, vancouver, Winnipeg, Halifax, Edmonton, etc and thats why most immigrants are crowded in these few cities ....The USA on the other hand is far better when it comes to making money in any state with any job opportunity you get and you have more options in all states than you do in a few provinces in canada.... Yes healthcare is free but then you its very high in taxes....so basically it's not free as most people think....both countries have similar systems with just very few differences.... The USA is far better when it comes to making money from odd jobs before you get your statusa as an immigrant. Canada usually pays you less doing odd jobs but high if you are skilled.... You can definitely accumulate more wealth and have more opportunities in the USA without status as an immigrant than in Canada. The hustling is the same in both countries tho. I still love canada alot bcos its a nice country with nice people and was my first country outside Africa and the first time i saw snow in 2005. And there are lots of opportunities in both countries but the USA has way better financial opportunities . Few years ago, an American family intentionally brought their aged father with serious health conditions to the UK and abandoned him so that he would be freely taken care of by the NHS. They were found and prosecuted 😃. Immigration is reciprocal between North American countries and their European counterparts. People get tired of their usual abodes and decide to try new places.
UK is still rubbish compared to Canada especially in terms of survival and their home office laws are not good for immigrants like international students. I know what I am talking about since I have been in UK as a foreign student before relocating to Nortb America. Canada , Australia and the Scandinavians are all better than UK. I have never missed UK and will not recommend to anyone even to visit. Most Ghanaians attitude have been shaped by the system and they cannot even accommodate you for a second in their house...
