What is going on with all these plane crashes?
Some pilots skip the procedures and take it up anyway. It could be overweight or engine failure.
What's going on with all these motor vehicle crashes is more like it?? What's going on is people make bad, bad decisions over 90 percent of the time. There are no more crashes today than in the past, actually there is less!!!
According to Flightradar24, the plane took off and almost immediately banked left over the West Branch Du Page River to return to the airport.
No sound
At least it’s not a stall spin. Pilot flew it to the ground, looks like.

At least nobody on the plane was hurt. Yet another twin engine stall.
