I just wanted to say thanks for sharing this, I'm so sorry for what you're all going through. I genuinely can't imagine what it's like, and I wish there was something I could do to actively help with the situation. You're all in my thoughts and prayers, and I'll be staying tuned.

I am an American interested in some inside information on the current war. I have been paying attention to a teenage singer who lives in Kyiv for at least 4 years. Thus, for an American I have a pretty big interest in what is is happening in Lviv.

Praying for you all. You all have a beautiful home and city. Just one hour ago or so NATO Very High Readiness Joint Task Force was activated. This is very good news. I have friends whose children were deployed with US and German military who are on their way. You are not alone. The world cares. My “niece” (my Ukrainian friend’s granddaughter) was in Kiev. She is traveling still. 27HRS. Getting closer to the border they are heading to. This update is helpful to me as I am very concerned for how the west is holding up as it’s the polish border and many need to evacuate there if want and if necessary. Is there anything you need I can help with? Please give your Grandmother a big hug from me and tell her it’s all going to be okay. The mad men of the world expose themselves and that means we can see them more clearly and can know better how to deal with them. There must be a good that comes from this. My heart breaks bc I know many already have been hurt.

Where have you been with all your solidarity within last 8 years when 4 millions of people in Donbass where under the artillery fire just because they didn't want to jump "for the glory of nation and for the death of nation's enemies", e.q. for the death of so-called "moscowits", an offensive nickname for Russians? 13 000 civilians were dead under the artillery fire and at least 300 children among them only because their parents struggled for the right of watching Russian movies, most of which are officially prohibited in Ukraine as "enemy's movies", and for the right to giving their children education in Russian, their native language. It is why Ukrainian regime officials called them a betrayers, a "Colorado beetles" and "vatniks" and send nazi's volunteer battalions with nazi's symbolic on their emblems against these people. Where have you been with your solidarity when 4 million of people struggled for their rights? Do you know that Maidan revolution came under nazi's slogans "Who not jumping is a moscowit" and all the crowd, everyone on the Maidan meetings voluntarily and publicly jumped under that stupid slogans without even thinking how stupid are these jumps under the xenophobic slogans?
People came to Maidan to protest against the power of oligarchs and against corruption, but their conscience during the meetings was so strongly formatted by social engineers that they immediately forgot their initial targets and elected Poroshenko, an oligarch, as their president, and agreed for the assignment of Avakov, Baloga, Kononenko and other corrupted officials with a criminal records history to the key official positions. People who protested against corruption and oligarchs totally forgot all what they struggled for, they remembered only that they should struggle against so called "grassroots separatists" e.q. against the people who were not agree with anti-Russian agenda. Do you know that all so-called Ukrainian patriots publicly called to draw and burn so-called "Colorado beetles" and "vatniks", which means the people who didn't supported anti-Russian agenda? Do you know that Ukraine don't have a freedom of speech, that only within last year it is closed 6 opposition TV channels blaming them in a "pro-Russian propaganda", and that leaders of most popular Ukrainian opposition party are in the jail or emigrated, because government blamed them in a "betraying of nation" and "Russian propaganda"? Do you know that tens of journalist in Ukraine were convicted as "violators of national integrity" and some of them even were killed by Nazis and their killers where first arrested but then released and their criminal prosecution was unlawfully cancelled?
Do you remember how all the world struggled for the freedom of Nadiya Savchenko, a military prisoner in Russia? Where have you been when after coming back to Ukraine she was arrested by Ukrainian regime as a "Russian propagandist and terrorist"? Where have you been when more than 100 people in Odessa were burned alive during clashes between pro-russian opposition and Nazi soccer casuals?
I don't want to say that Putin is a good guy - no, he is a corrupted dictator, who fought with USA for the European gas market and wished to revenge when he lost that fight. But Ukrainian quasi-nazist regime which is prosecuting everyone who doesn't support a "pro-nation" agenda, the regime of USA marionettes is not better than Putin's regime.
