I have a 2017 Nuna Tavo and Magic beans was very helpful. Nuna, however, not so much. I have had 2 sets of front wheels snap off. To purchase the replacements was $80 plus express shipping as I use this stroller everyday. Then today, another set broke, literally snapped off. Thankfully no one was hurt. This second set of wheels is 1 years old. Maybe its the northeast cold, but I dont think the plastic holding the front wheels works well in frigid temperatures. The stroller works for us: roomy bottom area and easy one-hand pushing if needed. We also had the side latch break on the stroller frame and nuna sent a new frame as it broke within the 2 year warranty. I am underwhelmed with the quality.
I can’t wait for the car seat then in November the TAVO!! I’ve been eye balling this system since 2016 wish I got it for my first born now baby 2 will have it.
I bought 3 stroller and they have not convinced me. I really need something practical, comfortable for my baby and not too heavy. I accept recommendations

As we're researching this item online, the "aspen" color looks very different than how this is showing in your video. Can you confirm that this is the same Aspen color that Dillards or Pottery Barn display on their websites as much more of a charcoal gray? Yours is much more of a light blue.

Honestly, it's a bit brighter in this video than in real life, but in real life it definitely still looks blue - probably a bit more blue than the Dillards & PB pics you're looking at. Yes, you can remove the upper canopy to get more air flow to the PIPA. There will be the back of the seat still which resembles a bassinet if that's what you're looking for.
I used to have MIXX 2, buy I returned it. It is a sturdy stroller but very heavy. I wouldn’t recommend it for everyday use. I know you didn’t expect to hear from me, just trying to be helpful.
I have the Nuna Mixx 2. The quality is great. It is definitely sturdy and heavy. It is more heavier than other strollers which is a drawback. I don't have the opportunity to return the stroller once the box is opened. Even though it is heavy to lift in and out of the car, it is so easy to push and has great suspensions. The other thing about the stroller is that it takes a lot of trunk space. I drive a Honda civic. So basically, 75 to 80% of the trunk space is gone from my car. Definitely try to see how it fits in your car. Depending on where you live and your lifestyle, your choice of stroller will vary. I live in Canada and it does get cold and does get snow. So this was why I chose the Mixx stroller. My other choice was the Uppababy Cruz or Vista.
Yes now I'm leaning more towards the Tavo or even the Cruz, It looks like the Tavo brings much more to the table. I know eventually, I'll be wanting to get a Jogging Stroller. So might as well skip the bulkiness of the Mixx2.
We decided to go with the Tavo because the back is actually bigger/more spacious than the Mixx2--meaning a toddler should be able to sit in it longer because of height. We also like the easy one step fold of the Tavo and liked that we didn't have to remove the seat to use it with the Pipa carseat (unlike the Mixx2 where you do have to remove the seat and have adapters). The breathable mesh window at the back of the canopy was a plus also (we live in southern california, so it can get pretty warm). We also didn't really need the seat to be reversible like the Mixx2 has and the price point was right for us. My sister has the Mixx2 and it is a nice stroller, but the Tavo seems like it would fit our needs better. This is our first child, so who knows, we may hate it when baby comes, but so far, it seems like it fits the bill.
Hi there! It could definitely work for traveling, but you'd need to check the stroller as luggage since it won't fit in the overhead compartment of the plane.
is the nuna tavo 2019 compatible with the nuna pipa (not pipa lite or lite lx)? Does it have the same functionality shown in the video? Like not needing adapters or having to take out the strollers seat etc.?
Yup, here are Nuna's care recommendations for the fabric: • Machine wash in cold water, delicate cycle • Lay flat • Air dry, do not tumble dry • Do not iron or dry clean • Do not use abrasives or bleach

The canopy and the seat do not come off for cleaning. Which basically means no laundry cleaning. Huge downside.

The black band at the bottom of the seat it is fabric or faux leather? I live in Arizona and am worried it might get too hot if it’s not cloth.
Hi Morgan! Correct - it's leatherette. We haven't gotten that feedback so far but it's a valid concern. We do love the breathable seat though.
When you placed the PIPA in the Tavo, it looks like the stroller canopy almost completely blocks the view of the baby. Is the canopy easily removable?
