    That's really a cool place. And I love that Texans said no to the feds and insisted on keeping it open to hunting and fishing. Creating a whole new thing a preserve. That's Texas for ya!

    Great video Chet!!
    I always think it's funny when people refer to this area of Texas as southeast Texas.
    To get from my house in Corpus to the Big Thicket I would drive about 300 miles Northeast.
    I've heard it on the National News they'll call Houston SE Texas.
    Sometimes this makes me wonder if they own a GLOBE!!

    Wonderful video. I have yet to make it to the big thicket but it's been on my bucket list for a while. Such a unique ecosystem.
