It’s loud as fuck and got that good poppin Jake brake. Rolls coal too! Such a engine one of my favorites. It’s all mechanical too. 10 speed transmission. Or a 13 speed. Been a little while since I drove it. It’s one of our pride and joys. Truck was just a bare chassis for a while until the old wrecker body was installed on it.

It’s a white day cab 84 Kenworth W900A 10 speed transmission. Has a 450hp Big Cam Cummins engine. It’s probably making 525 now because we took the motor out to rebuild it. It’s got power man. Extremely loud and rolls coal no matter what. Even when the engine was stock the thing smoked. Old Cummins are known for being good ole Smokey mechanical engines. The truck my boss kept from a tow. It had been towed out of a yard being abandoned for 6 years. He bought the thing for fricken 8 grand. Got it running, we drove it around how it was for a little bit and messed around with it. We had a winch on it for a small bit. Used it as a back up truck. Then, the boss man wanted to build it so... it started and now it’s one of our pride and joy wreckers.

is BIG CAM 4 a 400 model or a 444 model? nice thunderjake. to me i think the mack and BIG and SMALL CAM cummins ,the 7CZ 600HP CAT and 60 series has the loudest jake breaks C15 models, CELECT PLUS and ISX are runner-up to me.

This truck is a 400 big cam 4 turned up a bit and swapped to big cam 3 high flow cooling.
The 60 series, 3406e/c15/16/18, NTC 855's and C12 are loud. The 60 series and C15 are the loudest and my fire department runs both lol
