It would take a lot of customization because it’s completely different the way it mounts on a Losi. You’d have to put pretty large wheel extenders on or the body would be draped out over the tires. It might be possible but not easy to do
Swag S I guess it depends on what I’m doing. If I want grip and acceleration I’d definitely pick the 4wd Losi. If I want to just drift around and goof off I’ll probably take one of my Hpi bajas. You can get all of the power to the ground with the Losi and it has great pull out of corners with the 4wd. The baja you can’t get the power to the ground it’s more about finesse and throttle control so you don’t lose control. The braking setup is much better in the Losi because it has a center mounted braking system that gives braking power evenly to the front and rear. A stock baja only has a rear brake setup. This particular baja in the video has an aftermarket front mechanical braking system. But they don’t come with that stock. Losi also uses a 1/5 scale sized Servo for throttle and braking duties compared to the baja which only uses a 1/10 sized Servo. Hopefully that answers your question 😊
Swag S finding authentic Hpi parts can be tricky sometimes because they weren’t manufacturing anything for a while. Some parts have become scarce. I think they are producing parts again though. There are knockoff cloned parts from Rovan and King Motor for both the baja and Losi platform so you can interchange their parts. I have used a lot of the Rovan and King Motor Aluminum upgrade parts on mine and they seem to be pretty good.
Nice comparison. They are huge👍👍
Kenny mph Melanko They are large trucks!!!
If you fit a 5SC body shell to hpi the difference isnt all that much👍👍
laurent gouriou do u mean between the size of the 5SC and the Losi 5ive-T?
RC Knockout yep
What mix do you run in the hpi and what ratio?
Usually around 25:1
How hard would it be to fit the losi body on the hpi? I have a brushless baja and a 5t body just came up for sale cheap

@@RCKnockout thanks! ill let you know if i accomplish it. he only want $20 for the body
Which one do enjoy more losi or hpi?

RC Knockout what abt parts and maintenance are they almost same?
