Little tidbit of info on kingfishers, Eiji Nakatsu was a birdwatcher and engineer for the company that built/operated the bullet trains "Shinkansen" in Japan. He was inspired by kingfishers to solve the trains sonic boom problem when exiting tunnels (pressure differentials). Kingfishers dive from one fluid (air) into one 800 times more dense (water) with very little splash. The aerodynamics of the bullet train were modified with the kingfisher as inspiration.

There’s a Kingfisher, about 10 mins from my house. Beavers, turtles, all kinds of other birds. I love seeing related animals in these videos.
