Thank you for the great video! after watching I felt confident enough to do it myself. However, after pricing out the specialty tools I decided it’s cheaper to have a shop do it if I bring them the forks hahaha but I’m glad to have the knowledge now

Thanks, there is a way to seat the seals by using the old oil seal. You can also make a tool to remove the assembly.

@@Jms4ntana mine is 41 mm but double check your fork size, I have seen cheap ones on Amazon. amzn.to/3XNGI25

Looks fairly easy as long as you have the right tools, nicely done sir 👍😁

The dome piece that goes under the spring is in backwards. That dome goes toward the bottom of the spring

Wallstreetrider are you sure the bump goes up? I'm doing a set and one fork is up and one is down. Can't tell in the for schematics

Bottom collar is upside down per my diagram as someone mentioned that i missed and finished torquing and putting it back per video 🤦🏼‍♂️

Interesting that is the way I dissembled it. I will have to look at the diagram, Thanks for the good eye.

Per manual L1 nipple from spring color A number 14 should be up.
Per Part Zilla it seems to be the same.
Honestly I didn't double-check mine I thought it was nipple down and I went back and checked your first video and it doesn't show you sliding that part out

Yeah, I wanna say he’s right. That bottom collar nipple is supposed to point towards the spring. I used your video to do mine and mine coming out from factory was pointed toward the spring and not downward 😊

@@Lopez23300 More than likely whoever rebuild my fork put it in upside down, I was just following how I took it apart. Easy fix, just fit it around,
