    Dude! So glad to see you preaching about those life jackets. Too many people have drowned with their jackets floating on the lake beside them. And many of those who did drown were incredibly good swimmers.

    Being from Minnesota this is some of the best walleye fishing to be had. Crazy I was ice fishing the lake 3 weeks ago.

    Ah, it's good to see the boat in the water again!! Still have a few weeks till I can do the same up here but that's ok, need to do some work to the boat before the season starts anyway. Looking forward to trying a few new lures out this year, top among them are the Dragonslayer jig bodies!! Tight lines, everyone!!

    Hey Jay! What bow protector is on your trailer? I just bought myself a new rig and I’m very particular about my things. I have a towtector on my hitch and actually had my boat wrapped in paint protection film, but that’s just for protection on the upper portion of the boat. Anyway, what brand is that? I like that you can still wipe the entire boat down with that one installed.

      Omg u liked my comment wow 🤩 I’ve been so passionate about walleye fishing because I have been watching you a lot during covid, I watched u mainly on the ice and I am going to get a electronic to help me find fish I have everything to ice fish but a fish finder/flash and much knowledge on the lakes here, I’ve gone a couple time and nothing. I live in Ontario I’m near Toronto just about 30mins north and I moved here from Brazil a couple years back so I’m still every new to the lakes here and I’m currently limited to shore fishing but i got a summer job and I’m working on saving for a boat.

      To add, they grew up guiding and had that style boat. It’s what they know and are comfortable with. It allows you to backtroll/keep you on the spot much easier. Pre trolling motors.

    Crossing the border in these situations only refers to land, you’re allowed to be in a boat and fish on the other side.

      Answer: "No. As long as you are not touching land in Canada, touching or exchanging any items, taking anything on board or touching a dock, you are allowed to navigate back and forth from the U.S. and Canada without contacting CBSA or U.S. Customs upon your return. If you were to step foot on ice, that is a game changer as ice by definition for crossing the border equals land and check in then would be required."
