I know RC warships are a niche market but if you come across this video please like and then share in any model groups you may belong to or to people you feel may be interested. Also to help feed the youtube algorithm please drop a comment in the public comment section below. Many thanks
Love this stuff. I just wish model making was as a big a hobby here as in the UK. I think Anericans have just abandoned every hobby that involves hands on activity for computer games, etc.
You're WAY wrong !! I have RC boats, planes, helis, and 1/12th military vehicles. My flying club, CVRC has over 100 members and an awesome flying facility. Hobby is still strong in the US !!!!
@@rcmodelwarships6893 The above individual is refering the appearance that the flag appears to be covering a casket. I wouldn't worry about it too much (with your location) as there can be some people that are sensitive about the treatment of the flag. Considering it's legal for an American (or just someone who's in america, or even in another country) to Deface or Burn a American flag as a sign of protest, someone in Britian using one to display an American submarine is actually a neat idea. Moreover that flag is obviously well taken care of, I see so many flags outside in worse shape than that on a daily basis. I think it's a minor unintended faux pas at worst. I'd only ever worry about it after it became an issue physical issue at the meet. And then simply asking them to display it hung off the front of the table and covering the box with a simple white sheet would be a solution. But like I said I wouldn't worry about it as there could be people taking offense to even that.
@@danielkapp9468 oh the flag over the table!!, i thought there was an issue with the model. Its a common site over in the uk that if your trying to show say british ships then you would use a royal navy ensign on the table, same with german, japanese, american etc etc. this is a cultural thing of identification not anything else. you are correct, the modeller was just showing that it was a US submarine on display. There are people in the uk who are also passionate about their flag, so i now understand where the above comment is coming from. Funny story, when i was living in the USA someone put the british flag up as they knew i am british but they put the flag up, upside down, i immediately asked if they were in trouble and needed assistance, they didnt know what i was talking about and had to explain to them what showing a flag upside down meant. Anyway, thankyou for pointing the issue out, nothing i can really do about it and im sure there will be other video's that i post where this will be seen.

From and where to purchase any of the warship
most are scratch built or you can by online from ebay and amazon.
What was the ship at 04:32 I couldn't make out the name plate
HMS Duncan?
@@relentlezz Thank you
@@buonafortuna8928 i believe it is hms duncan
@@rcmodelwarships6893 Thank you. I did wonder, at first, if it was an auxiliary cruiser
It's HMS Kent and built and owned by a friend of mine.
How can we be sure these are actuall models and not someone has invented a shrink ray and these are shrunk real ships???
I hope no one is thinking of building a model of the Titan Submersible, it may only go down and never come back up again, only joking.
What a disgrace and lack of respect at 2:50 and on to use the American flag like that ...... did someone die ?
may i ask what the issue is so that if i see the builder next year i can let him know
