- In this video we replace the upper and lower ball joints on the right side of a 2000 Ford F350. It's a little long, but I tried to cover as much as possible.

Did this 5 years ago for my 7.3. Took me all weekend to do both sides. Ford quoted me 3 grand to do this.

My ball joints came with no boots. They’re OEM. Do you know where I can order some or is a universal set ok?

Make sure to install greasable ball joints. They wont last long if there not.

Mine was smooth sailing until I had to remove that axle. There was no possible way that it would come out for me.

@@hilariahernandez8742 I used a socket between the outer u joint housing yoke and the axle and just turned the whole spindle to help push itself out, going back and forth between front and rear, seemed like the safest and easiest option for me.
@@hilariahernandez8742 a pry bar behind the axle yoke will pop it right out.
Removing the axle was a challenge for me as well. I got it out but ripped the vacuum seal doing it. Going tomorrow to get a couple new ones, as I'm sure the other side will probably rip as well
