From personal experience at several universities, the top ranked ones were by far the best administered and easier to do well in due to clear learning outcome goals. Has anyone else experienced this?

@@Curmudgeonist Yes I have, in reference to better administration. But, I've also attended community colleges that were administered well and had clear learning outcome goals. It's probably based on president/chancellor and their leadership

Absolutely not. I went to a state university and worked for someone who went to Duke. We were not radically different and he had way more student loans than me.
On the subject of indoctrination? That can happen at any college, so unavoidable on that front. I do know the hard sciences are more insulated against the wokeness, but humanities are permeated with it.
