@@simplylegalbyterrykahumagladly. But first I need to correct a premise you hold. From a “Christian” perspective it doesn’t matter one iota what laws government passes. Scripture clearly defines the Churches relationship to government. We are Servant of Christ and sub-servant to government. You are only blessed to be in a country where government here is grounded in human rights and you gave a vote. Many Christians do not have that blessing. 2) as a Christian i take issue with HOW Church leaders choose to approach an issue you highlighted early on. Trans issues. You demonize and shame people and take no responsibility for the world we live in because you expect the government to do the Church’s work. Hear what the scripture says, don’t try and learn it and contort it to fix your biases. The government will overstep when it forces us to actually physically violate God’s law as it says in Scripture. For example, if they said the Church must marry gays. That can’t be done by the church. This new legislation does nothing even close to trespass on that command. You are stirring up anger and fear. Why? Who does that serve?
