After a long wait, Mahindra has officially released the 5 Door Thar under the name plate of Thar Roxx on August 15th. The Thar Roxx has got too many upgrades in every aspect over the 3 door Thar, whether its the performance, comfort, features, luxury, safety, capabilities, etc. Mahindra has some segment first features which not any car in India offers like CRAWL Assist, Intelli-turn, also some safety features like ADAS, Rear Discs, Panaromic Sunroof, and much more. For the very first time, Mahindra has also offered 2 different interior colors, and the biggest R19 alloys giving it an impressive stance. Thar Roxx has got watt's link suspension setup that makes the ride much more comfortable and improves dynamics of the car. Also, this time we don't need to get the headlights upgraded aftermarket, as the Thar Roxx gets LED headlamps with DRLs and LED turn indicators.
The power figures have also seen a massive increase to deliver a peak power and torque of 175bhp and 380NM. All the upgrades are easily evident in sales too. The Thar Roxx broke all the records as it got 1.8Lakh bookings in just an hour. This is also because of wide range of variants on offer from 12.99L to all the way up to 22.49L, they have a variant for every customer.
