Why the fuck is Tectone so good at singing wtf. As good as Cyr's performance of Mr. Brightside, I kinda wish Tectone had been the one to sing it instead because I feel like he would have killed it even more.

They made a good choice with emily. Most of them are pretty mellow and laid back so it was a smart move to bring in the complete opposite type personality in to shake things up with the giddy energy ball that is extra emily.
It takes a lot of guts to be able to be yourself in front of people, whether a crowd or online or any situation, to always stay yourself.

Tectone started SO STRONG and then you can hear the nerves creep in and that little warble starts. Just look at the judges' faces on those first five words; he did Rick proud with that intro.
It wasn't nerves, the dude has a deep ass voice with no vocal training. He put too much strain on his throat and it affected the rest of his performance.

@@shanustheanus ya, a lot of people don't realize what a difference vocal training makes. I used to think singing was something you are just born good at, and it's true some people have more of a range, and some people have a better ear, so can tell when they are in tune, but regardless of where you are starting from, vocal training makes a HUGE difference! My sister is a music therapist, and during collage she had to take singing lessons, and let me tell you, when she started, she was NOT good. However, she got a LOT better after gaining some confidence, and learning to better control her voice.

Otk was built by tips and will. Tips has also tried leaving/retiring/selling OTK only a billion times in the last few years because the creators are so stressful lmao.

I wanted Asmongold's nerves to be an act so badly. If he has come out and just been on beat and excited with all the right words, even if the melody was out of tune, he would've blown the roof off, and shocked everyone!
I actually admire the fact it's not an act. To do this while you genuinely deal with this kind of anxiety is equally impressive to me. I would completely melt down.
@@Sarnatuile I'll be honest I actually do think the anxiety is a bit of an act, I'm sure it's real at some level but he's exaggerating it a bit I think. I had just hoped he would have done a little prep and come out screaming and having a good time.

It's what happens when a person with anxiety can't hide away like you can when you're average or below average height.
It's why taller people with anxiety always have social confidence at the same time as having anxiety because they got used to it and adapted.
I had a tall friend at school like that.

Every human being has anxiety. To not be able to handle it as an adult is an issue.
